Tender slow-baked turkey wings coated in a smoky honey chipotle glaze with bold garlic flavor, sweet heat, and rich sticky goodness in every bite.
Turkey Wings:
* 8–10 small turkey wings
* 1 tbsp lime pepper seasoning
* 1 tbsp wood fire garlic seasoning
* 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
* 1 tbsp smoked paprika
* 2 tbsp oil
Honey Chipotle Sauce:
* 1 jar chipotle peppers
* 1 cup honey
* Juice of 1 lime
* 5 garlic cloves
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 tsp black pepper
1. Clean the turkey wings thoroughly and pat them dry with paper towels.
2. Season the wings with lime pepper seasoning, wood fire garlic seasoning, Cajun seasoning, and smoked paprika.
3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Sear the turkey wings for about 3–4 minutes per side until nicely browned.
5. In a blender, combine chipotle peppers, honey, lime juice, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
6. Blend until smooth and creamy.
7. Place the browned turkey wings into a large baking dish.
8. Pour the honey chipotle sauce generously over the wings.
9. Cover the dish tightly with foil.
10. Bake at 350°F for 1½ hours until the wings become tender.
11. Carefully remove the wings from the baking dish and pour the pan juices into a saucepan.
12. Simmer the sauce over low heat until reduced by half and thickened.
13. Return the turkey wings to the oven uncovered and bake for another 1 hour until beautifully caramelized.
14. Pour the thickened honey chipotle glaze back over the wings before serving.
15. Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, or roasted vegetables.
