I agree. My OP was that I will withhold judgement until further details are provided in this case, but on its face it sounds like a justifiable shooting.

I get it,I understand but I just look at things differently now that I have a kid and see how one simple stupid mistake can lead to something like this.
You know how many times I was on or near someone's property that I didn't know,taking short cuts,retrieving a ball or just doing something I wasn't suppose to do like climbing onto their garage roof or even inside,I was lucky I guess but even now that I have my own place I'm more understanding and I don't ever want to mistakenly kill anyone especially my own child;youtube pranks and all the shit like that going on...

You can replace most materialist items but can you replace a life or in some cases your own....it's just one of those things.

On my lawn, or backyard...yeah, no need for any of that shit. Hell, I'd be hella pissed if they were leaning on my car but I wouldn't pull out the glock.

I get kids are kids, and I did a lot of dumb shit when I was a kid too. But no matter how old you are, there are consequences to actions...and if they didn't know that going in someone's garage and sitting in their car was a crime and all, their parents need their asses beat.

No doubt whether you feel the homeowners actions were just or overkill once your on someone else property doing dirt your possibly placing your life in their hands.
