Anyone who can't appreciate the brilliance as art (and importance as social commentary) of Precious (not to mention the novel it's based on) is a fool, and most likely a self-deluded macho male type who always cries the blues when female-oriented stories are told (which is rare to begin with).

I listened to it and i liked Precious. It was sad, yes. But it was real and raw. And eff him. Who is he to tell me i didn't like this movie? Wtf? Ok he didn't like it fine. But don't try to tell me or my friends who watched it together that we didn't like it when we did. AHole.

Movies like precious are made so white people can feel better about themselves when shit is real fucked up in their lives.A movie showing Blacks on some positive shit will never be made and put out by a major distributor during a recession where white folks Disney land lives have been turned into a straight up nightmare.Only reason anyone can really hate dude is if their used to people talking that soft shit.You may not agree with everything he says but when he gets into undercover racist shit he brings it 100%.Same people who like precious thought shit like Black In America was uplifting and we live in a post racial america.
