Man you guys confuse the hell out of me sometimes.

What's the goal in life? Especially as an american?

It's to GET. Seems to me all Donnell is saying is don't do anything to stop your "GETTING". White people have the things you want to GET. Don't do things to keep white people from GIVING you those things.

Do i agree with this? Hell no. But i completely understand it. He's raised like MOST OF US. He was raised to GET.

If this is the case, then Lord Jamar is like a fat ugly dude that proudly proclaims to be faithful to his wife. Ain't nobody checking for him. If that fat dude had any options, he'd be fucking. Same with Lord Jamar. Who's checking for him commercially? It's easy to be "real" when ain't nobody buying.

But he kept it real when Brand Nubian were big in Hip Hop so his stance hasn't changed at all.

I agree with everything you said except for the highlighted sentence. I don't have the exact same desires as white people or anyone for that matter.

I will say that capitalism and integrity do not mix. This system fosters individuality and competition. That is why moral corruption is through the roof.

I meant it like. They make it. White people make the fancy cars. So on and so forth. The big fancy schmancy houses. Most people who get money buy those things.
