Has anyone thought to ask how much these unlawful deportations are costing? $50K bonuses to ICE agents, sending hundreds / thousands of agents into various states /Metropolitan areas (transportation, food, lodging), man hours, damage to property (federal and privately owned)...etc?
And then conversely setting up these makeshift detention centers to house the immigrants; rent/lease, utilities, food, supplies, equipment, supplemental care.
The cost to "transport" (read traffic) them out of the country. And then the impact to businesses, (especially if a person is falsely detained and transported). Loss of staff, resources, increased cost to cover the absence and retrain....etc.
The wild part is them posting up at the courthouses and detaining mfkrs after their immigration court hearing. They were given a continuance or might have had to reschedule, welp ICE decided you need to be deported. Not the federal judge already overseeing your case.
Just a big distraction, waste of money and a trial run show of force IF drumpf and the "right" decide that they don't want to concede "power."
