most softwares posted on here does NOT have a worm or virus in them(your AV----->ANTI-VIRUS/99% of AV will tag ------> PATCHES, KEYS, CRACKS, KEYGENS....ETC. as trojans, worms, viruses........why?

That's what I thought this late in the game.
Can't they "Chest" em in certain AV applications or put the file in questionin a chest quarantined away from the rest of one's system?

If you only ran the keygen programs (any keygens) in a Sandboxie sandbox, would that keep your system from being infected (once you delete the contents of the sandbox)?

Use some common sense and take a minute to scan your downloads. That minute might save you hours of frustration.

There's no need for a new rule. Never assume a download is virus free, I don't care who post it. I scan everything even music.
