I think both are equally conscious but some people need a little more stimulation to really start dropping science.

I really dig sistas who are making moves to initiate positive change as well as representing like the divine wisdom bodies that they are.

Hopefully alot more of us will learn to support each other rather than tearing one another down over the smallest pretext.

No worries sista. I'll definitely give you feedback once I've had a chance to check out the whole series in its entirety.

The game is indeed foul and to many of us would rather wallow wallow in the lap of ignorance than really get up, get out and do something.

Just check out the number of heads that are still sleeping on this whole Hillary/Bill Clinton Vs Barak Obama thing and that should give you an indication as to how complacency still has many blacks steadily losing every second.

Mad props to Femmenoire for her pro-Obama threads over in BGOL though. (No simping)

^^^Hey Sis, I just watched the first instalment and it made for interesting viewing. Me and my friends debate about stuff like this all the time and have come to exactluy the same conclusions.

It has always been the whitemans desire to dominate everything around him especially as he is the true minority on planet earth so it really comes as no suprise that he has initiated a world system that ensures he's economic dominance of the worlds financial system to suit his own purposes.

To achieve this, he has also assisted in the destruction or inhibition of other nations abilities to be self-sufficient and independently capable of generating sustainable wealth.

Unfortunately, many of these nations fall within the African sub-continent and some parts of Asia. (especially, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh)

The Japanese, Koreans and the Chinese (more recently) have made definite and quantifiable advances in aquiring and sustaing strong levels of economic independence from the West and in some instances, actually now have the west dependent on the East for technology and other essential components to the western economic setup.

The Middle East supplies the lubrication for western enterprise hence the bogus war for oil being waged simultanuously in Afghanistan and Iraq but the Middle East is a powder keg of religious fanaticism which is anti western to the extreme and the west is caught in a quagmire as to what to do to safeguard its oil interests in that region.

Just one of the many reasons why I get pissed off with heads arguing over bullshit in this and many other forums. It's high time that we realise that we have more in common than not and start networking so as to provide a better and more assured tomorrow for ourselves and the generations to come after we've gone back to the essence.

Damn! Wasn't planning on writing a mini essay but you've obviously inspired me. LOL!

hmmm....yes... the rabbit whole got deeper... I havent finished watching the last 5 installments myself... but I am looking forward to see what they will propose and how they will advocate for what type of change...

One thing that these other groups have is national pride... Koreans are all about Korea... China is all about China... etc etc...they participate on a global scale but at the end of the day everything they do is to advance their country and people...

Sad thing is mention racism and everyone will ignore it. Anyone who had done an in depth history of the black race will be pissed off a lot.

Blacks came from different tribes and were split up so they could not communicate with each other. Take into account the natural hatred beteween these tribes and the subtle sometimes brutal brainwashing reaped upon the slaves will tell you why we still seem to hate one another.

Ah OP, Blunt is seen as the antagonist on BGOL with a bitingly sarcastic tongue for stupid statements as perceived by them about celebrities and towards black women in general by the black males on the board.

Strangely enough i am curious because i have never seen that poster make any definitive statements towards racism and their stance on the issue. In light of the many posts haraguing black males in general i would have liked to hear the esteemed posters opinion on the posted clips.

I do believe that we as a people need to better ourselves and some of us need to stop waiting to be rescued by the hopes of restitution . I believe that we as a people have been wronged but society will never admit to it.

these people did an awesome job putting this play on- its not new, I stumbled upon a mashup version of this play mid 2007, but they just now put the whole thing up on youtube.

I could see this being shown to Sophomore's and Juniors in High School during some type of assembly and then Do it at night and open the doors to the community. My only fear with this is that people will only take it for it's jest and really miss out on the message.

The youth seem more impressionable to me. And if your older and into this cycle already, comfortably, then it's unlikely that you are going to break out of it. But if you catch while they are young and prevent entry into this self destructive behavior then we have a real shot at making some change.

This is pure knowledge here! I need to save this because i want to use it as a tool to teach. Not only my class (I plan on continuing my education and getting an education masters degree so i can teach high school.), but my own two sons and nephews and cousins or any other family members that can be departed from the ignorance that seems to plague our people. Some people say i am crazy to want to teach high school but this is the particular reason why i want to- that is to enlighten our youth. GOOD DROP YO!
