This is a dope thread.... details how the classic hip hop generation were children of the 60s - 70s (sampling all those LP's with the crazy covers)

In music, sampling is the act of taking a portion, or sample, of one sound recording and reusing it as an instrument or a sound recording in a different song or piece.

Hard to watch this documentary and NOT notice how racially biased the sampling police and laws were. Had some white rock artists started this trend the courts would not have reacted as harshly (or confiscated their earnings).
