Not at all. There is a master plan that I and other posters have touched on. She may have spilled the beans slightly but folks who've seen what's been going on with urban public education the last 10-15 years know exactly what she's hinting at. If the teachers' unions start making noise about the comments she'll stfu and you won't hear anything about closing public schools until after the election because she's not about to completely fuck upthose guaranteed votes.
Right but the "reformers" come in, blame the teachers for lil Knuck Bucks failures, tell them it's the principal fault; dangle a new building, a nice gym, new computers and an iPad everyone can take home.......and suddenly they have the lobby needed to shutter the public and or make it a charter. The CEO and board and admins all make > $100k; they name it the ______ Academy/Center for Excellence/Girls scholars center, all the "scholars" (they are no longer "students") are all going to change the world.......meanwhile the parents are still poor the kids still live in poverty; the few that would have made it in the public still make it; the rest are shipped back to publics if they have discipline issues; the schools says we put 100% of seniors accepted into college; in reality more than a few are accepted into open enrollment community colleges but they skew the numbers......I could go on all day but in the end the parents get sold a bill of goods by whites and blacks in on the take and the kids and community are offen no better and sometimes worse.

Most parents of bad ass kids that fuck up in school don't want to be parents... In most cases the father didn't want to have the did, and the mother wouldn't had have the child if it were not for money she gets for them... As long as mothers are rewarded for making poor decisions in life, the further we will de-evolve as a people.. Because rewarding for failure is the direct opposite of what evolution naturally does...Shutting down the schools isn't going to do shit when education starts at home. Some parents have zero fucks to give and that will never, ever change. Only so much teachers can fucking do when parents don't make education a priority. Kids aren't studying at home, so let's shut the schools down.

I have plenty of friends who are teachers and they always speak about how the administration fudges the numbers especially when they are trying to treat schools like corporations. Shit. They are always fudging the numbers in business, now you take that to education.... That is one field that should never be treated like that.
If boggles my mind when people get all up in arms when they find out the teachers fudged the the numbers (testing scores) but when you treat a public good as a private entity you will ultimately get that.
So, when they talk about education overall it is usuly code words for privatization, and these corporations basically finding a way to loot the govt in another form. It has nothing to do with education.
When a man or woman is working 40 hours or more per week and depends on govt assistance then that is where you begin. You can't read to your kids when you don't make a living wage. I know people will say that they should have planned etc..., but you have to deal with people now and not in some imaginary future.
Then the good schools would get shitty students..
We blacks need to get unstuck from this never ending taste great/less filling or rather bad schools/bad parents debate because bad students make bad schools and no matter where you place children who aren't getting the proper parenting at home these kids will continue to fail causing what ever schools they attend to also fail..
The problem is whites are paying black mothers big money to have children rather to be good mothers, shit they get paid even more if they allow them to drug them..
So if there is no accountability at home, how is the ship supposed to right itself? Do you expect the kids to do it alone, or the teachers to somehow do all the damage poor homes do?
Neither are very likely... The real problem is that the black community is still stuck in an outdated numbers game... We think that having more children or quantity is better than quality,
how is that even possible when most of these bad ass kids never do anything productive in the community, they don't vote, they are responsible for 90% of the violent crimes in the hood, they are the ones doing the most robberies and rapes... We really need to see them for the liability that they are instead of looking at them through rose tinted glasses, and fantasizing about them being our young black warriors who will one day rise and save us..We need to reduce the amount of single parent families, have more strong black families, allowing the strong black qualifying men to lead the way...
ONce we do this there will be no need to manage failing students and failing schools.. And instead of the government deciding what should be done with us, we will have our destiny in our own hands, like real men..

I didn't miss the message. The schools that aren't doing as well are in less affluent neighborhoods. She would rather close down these schools and bus our kids to other districts, where they will probably not even be welcomed, instead of fixing the schools and neighborhoods these schools are in.
