The two biggest pieces of legislation to come out of the Clinton years were not even his ideas. These were born out of the Contract With America, or Contract On America however you want to say it.
1. Ending welfare as we know it, was Newt Gingrich shit that ended generational welfare and capped that at 5 years.
2. And the big tax cut on capital gains. This allowed people who owned homes to not have to pay a tax on the sale of private homes up to a half million dollars for couples.
That shit was Newt Gingrich too. That tax cut was responsible for the country getting to damn near a surplus (on paper) from tax receipts.
As far as we are conserned, Bill's big thing was to cut crime and passed what was called the Omnibus Crime Bill in '94. A bill that went about locking a new wave of black folk up for the most bullshit of charges. I also remember Bill heading back to Arkansas to sign off on frying this retarded black man but not many people of color said shit about that. But oh well.
Fact is the constitution has two main requirements, 35 years of age, and a natural born citizen of the US. The democrat and republican parties added all this other shit on none of which is a constitutional requirement.
Two, where would we be as a people if those before us said, "Let's not push the equal rights thing until white america is ready." Leave it up to you, we'd still be picking cotton.

Man please. I was born and raised in the north. Lived for almost 19 years in the south and I don't have a southern accent. My shorties were born there and they don't have accents either. That bitch is pandering like white people know they can do with us and we smile and believe anything. Because we would rather not demand shit for our vote. I was at a primarily white function last night, and when Hilary's name came up, there was major booerty going down!!!! White women hate her because they know she is a fake as snob wannabe, and white men hate her because she threatens their streak of being the only presidents(white/male). Some black people like her, but for the most part, she doesn't have much leverage in the end. The media is hyping this bitch up with fake ass data and polls, when we all know that white man ain't gon' let white guh get in office. They will take her ass down, just not right now.
