Hi Warriors Haters.

It's only one game. Seems like all the 'super teams' need time to find their groove. Heat did. Cavs did. The Spurs might just be a bad matchup for this version of the Warriors, which could be a huge problem in the playoffs.

Damn near the whole team played in the Olympics that was supposed to be their jelling period.

And the Heat didn't win it their first year.

And the Cavs didn't win it their first year

And the Warriors don't have LeBron like the heat and Cavs did

I don't think the spurs are a bad match up at all..they just came to play and the Warriors didn't..gasol is the only significant difference and he didn't do anything..Warriors played like it was a preseason game period..no effort or energy..but i agree it's gonna take them some time but i don't think that long...

Saw the game. Nothing special. I forgot the name of the guy who came off of San Antonio's bench and was shooting damn near 100% (20pts) from the field while Thompson stunk up the joint. Unless other teams are going to have some guy come of the bench and shoot 100% I wouldn't think too much of the first game. That said I saw a couple of things that some of the other posters noted as well.

Steve Kerr. This dude is starting to look more like Steve Fisher with the Fab Five. When it because obvious the height/length of the Spurs were giving them problems he was determined to prove his small ball strategy would eventually work. Zaza isn't Bogut. Bogut was a far better passer and even with injuries seems way more fluid that Zaza. The Center position will be an issue for them unless Javelle gets time.

Other than that I thought it was okay.

You talking about center passing at the center position is a problem and Javelle minutes increasing will help that damn....

I think Bogut was an underrated piece for them. I remember he kept fucking with the Cavs shots when they were going to the rack. GS don't have that shit no more. Flowed well on the offensive side of the ball. Remember, GS wasn't just known for their offense. Bogut was the defensive anchor. Their offensive power just overshadowed their defense.

Bogut was very underrated and another reason why GS lost to the Cavs; but GS death lineup killed the spurs last year not bogut..hell i think bogut didn't even play in 2 of those games last year..they lost to the spurs because they wasn't ready to play simple as that; if u watched the game the spurs took that game way more serious than the Warriors and it showed..Defense and rebounding is about position energy and effort not size;and the spurs aren't bigger than the Warriors; that's a misnomer; GS effort wasn't there period; and they turn the ball over too much and shot too many 3s; real simple game to break down.........

he was...i heard warriors fans on here say as much all last season and it was proven when he got hurt during the finals

I was saying that during the finals. Lebron starting eating in the paint as soon as Bogut got hurt. They'll be a much better offensive time and likely drop a notch defensively.

I think having Bogut available is just a huge plus. GS was able to kill in many ways. Time will tell if losing the defensive anchor was worth it. And festus wasn't exactly a bitch either.

Yeah, real warrior fans who knew basketball like Bills always talked about their defensive. The teams success wasn't just the splash brothers shooting the lights out.

Yeah, I remember. I was pissed at Bogut. Kyrie has no fucks to give going to the hole, and Bogut made sure Kyrie knew he had no fucks to give about stopping him. Frustrated Lebron too. It's all about matchups. Bogut would stop on one end, and then move the ball and let the team get off on the other end. By the time he comes out, damage is done.

Remember when it was said the Cavs needed a rim protector? Bogut was just second team and cats treating him like he wasn't shit. It's the underrated pieces that can be so important to a machine. I'll have to concede TT is that component on the cavs. As much as I hate his offense, he brings something that is hard to duplicate and gels with teammates.

It's crazy. It's proven lebron can impose his will. He lead all players in everything during the finals. If that interior D of GS is lacking, that means Kyrie hitting the paint up like crazy. So is Bron.

But shit, GS could win the next 40 games in a row too. Too early to call how the newest super team will gel.

You know you little butt hurt niggas is talking out your neck when Gene comes in defending the Warriors

Shit. This could go either way. If the warriors beat the Spurs bad, they would be crowned already. When the Spurs beat the Warriors bad, some acting like the team is a failure.

KD still a bitch, but I know to wait until the playoffs to throw dirt on the newest 'super team.' I still see GS vs Cavs in the finals. I know you're a true fan like bills and the crazy ass Dr., so see you in June. Media is going to blow every win streak and losing streak out of proportion until then.

Only five players on a court. If you have one who can't pass, can't shoot and can't rebound you're basically playing five on four. Bogut could defend the interior. Bogut could score (10+). Bogut could rebound and pass. Javelle is simply a better athlete (keyword) and he's a seven footer. During the preseason he did things the other centers couldn't do. He blocked shots. He rebounded. When was the last time you saw any of the other Centers do that? He had put-back dunks off of rebounds. Simply put, other teams won't have a plethora of big ass ball players (with skills) like San Antonio so technically there's nothing to be excited about in my opinion. And I'm sure Simmons will not become a 20ppg player this entire season and shoot a ridiculous percentage. I say all this for one thing...Ain't nobody out West going to beat Golden State four times out of seven EXCEPT the Spurs. They have some names on the roster and one helluva coach. A far better coach than Kerr.

This nigga team win one championship and he think he know all about basketball this season and next

Gene Relax
Shit let him live.

The way that they won plus the amount of time he's been on this earth without seeing his city bring home a chip, that win had to have felt like the first three Bull's rings. lol
