Hey TRACK & Field Heads: Andre de Brasse Future Star of Sprinting??
I don't know if anyone is watching the NCAA Track & Field Championships
on ESPN but I believe there is a new future star in the making.
I was predicting that Baylor sophomore, Trayvon Bromell, 100m & 200m
sprinter possibly winning a double but low and behold
USC junior, Andre De Grasse stole the show.
Canadian Andre De Grasse of USC swept the men’s 100 and
200 meters in the NCAA track and field championships Friday at Eugene, Ore.
De Grasse’s 100 wind-aided time of 9.75 was the fastest any-condition
time ever run by a Canadian and the second-fastest under any conditions
by a collegian. His 200 wind-aided time of 19.58 was the fastest
time run under any conditions by a collegian and at Hayward Field.
What do you guys think? Is he the future of sprints and possibly breaking Usain Bolt world record at 100m and 200m?
