Elon Musk’s father had a child with his own stepdaughter, who he had raised since she was four years-old. That child, Elliot Musk, is both Elon’s stepbrother and also his nephew.

Actually…. Try this many in such a short amount of time compared to NASA
SpaceX has had multiple explosions throughout its history, particularly during testing and early development of its rockets and spacecraft. Here are some of the most notable ones:
Falcon 1 Failures (2006-2008)
1. March 24, 2006 – First Falcon 1 launch (Flight 1)
• Rocket lost due to a fuel line leak, causing engine failure and explosion.
2. March 21, 2007 – Second Falcon 1 launch (Flight 2)
• Upper-stage engine failed, leading to a crash.
3. August 2, 2008 – Third Falcon 1 launch (Flight 3)
• Stage separation failure led to a collision and loss of the vehicle.
Falcon 9 Explosions & Failures (2012-Present)
4. October 8, 2012 – Engine explosion during Falcon 9 CRS-1 mission
• One of the engines failed mid-flight but the primary mission succeeded.
5. June 4, 2015 – Falcon 9 Pad Explosion (Static Fire Test)
• First test of a new Merlin engine resulted in an explosion.
6. June 28, 2015 – Falcon 9 CRS-7 launch failure
• A structural failure in the second stage caused an explosion mid-flight.
7. September 1, 2016 – Falcon 9 AMOS-6 Static Fire Explosion
• Rocket exploded on the launch pad during a routine test, destroying the payload (AMOS-6 satellite).
Starship & Starhopper Explosions (2019-Present)
8. November 20, 2019 – Starship Mk1 Prototype Explosion
• Pressure test led to a rupture and explosion.
9. February 28, 2020 – Starship SN1 Explosion
• Structural failure during a cryogenic test.
10. April 3, 2020 – Starship SN3 Collapse
• Failure during a cryogenic pressure test.
11. May 29, 2020 – Starship SN4 Explosion
• Successful static fire but exploded shortly after due to a fuel line issue.
12. December 9, 2020 – Starship SN8 High-Altitude Test Explosion
• Successful test flight, but the landing attempt failed, causing an explosion.
13. February 2, 2021 – Starship SN9 Explosion
• Another high-altitude flight, but landing failure led to an explosion.
14. March 3, 2021 – Starship SN10 Exploded After Landing
• Landed successfully but exploded minutes later due to a methane leak.
15. March 30, 2021 – Starship SN11 Mid-Air Explosion
• Destroyed in flight due to an engine failure.
16. April 20, 2023 – Starship First Orbital Launch Attempt (Starship SN24 & Booster 7)
• Explosion triggered a self-destruct system after loss of control.
17. November 18, 2023 – Starship Second Orbital Test Explosion
• Booster exploded after stage separation, and Starship was lost during reentry.
Crew Dragon Explosions (2019)
18. April 20, 2019 – Crew Dragon Capsule Explosion (SuperDraco Test)
• A Crew Dragon spacecraft exploded during a static fire test due to a leaking valve.:eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2:

Vs NaSA that had the most primitive tech since the 60’s:
NASA has experienced several explosions during testing throughout its history, both in ground tests and flight tests. Here are some notable incidents:
1. Apollo 1 (1967) - Ground Test Fire
• A cabin fire during a pre-launch test killed all three astronauts (Gus Grissom, Ed White, and Roger Chaffee).
• The fire was caused by an electrical spark in an oxygen-rich environment.
2. Space Shuttle Challenger (1986) - Launch Explosion
• The Shuttle exploded 73 seconds after liftoff due to an O-ring failure in the right solid rocket booster.
• All seven astronauts on board were killed.
3. Space Shuttle Columbia (2003) - Reentry Disintegration
• Columbia disintegrated upon reentry due to damage sustained from foam shedding during launch.
• All seven crew members died.
4. X-15 Rocket Plane (1967) - In-Flight Breakup
• The X-15 experimental aircraft suffered aerodynamic instability, leading to the death of pilot Michael Adams.
5. SpaceX Crew Dragon (2019) - Abort System Test Explosion
• During a static fire test of the Crew Dragon’s SuperDraco thrusters, an explosion destroyed the capsule.
• No crew was on board.
6. Saturn V S-II Stage Test (1965) - Test Stand Explosion
• During testing, a liquid hydrogen explosion damaged the test stand but caused no casualties.
7. James Webb Space Telescope Vibration Test (2016) - Unexpected Incident
• While not an explosion, the test created concerns when vibrations exceeded expectations, but the telescope was ultimately undamaged.
Other minor test stand explosions and rocket failures have occurred in NASA’s history, particularly in the early days of the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs. Additionally, various unmanned test rockets and launch vehicles have exploded due to structural or propulsion failures.
