Actually, I hope that they don't make it cause as I understand it they have a first round pick this year but they don't next year so they would get a few balls in on a lottery pick this year if they don't!

Plus the economy has sabotaged their chances of getting LeBron, they better not fuck up and make the playoffs, they need Stern to fix another lottery for them while the chance is there.

Nah don't want that lotto pick. Then they'd have to pay 'em more and they wouldn't be able to get D Wade, Bosh, Amare or LeBron.

GO KNICKS!

I kept telling people that picking up L Boogie and Wilcox was a HUGE move. The Knicks problem is that the need an upgrade at the point.

Walsh has done so much good this year that making the playoffs would be icing on the cake.

Nate Robinson = 6th man of the year.

Just on the strength of that alone, Donnie Walsh needs to be the GM of the year. Nate for 6th man as well!

From the NYPost:

The unraveling of the Suns could benefit the Knicks. Suns owner Robert Sarver, during the Cavaliers-Suns national telecast Thursday night, admitted he could break up the team in the offseason.

There's speculation the Suns, expected to miss the playoffs, could use an early termination clause to release point guard Steve Nash this summer and save $7 million on his 2009-2010 wage. Nash would have to play for the $5.9 million mid-level exception but wants to come to New York.

Walsh undid a LOT of the damage from Layden/Thomas era:
Got rid of Jerome James.
Got rid of Marbury.
Curry is talking about opting out (or potentially taking a buyout).
Will be under the salary cap in 2010.
Brought in Wilcox and Hughes.
Team is competitive and exciting.

..they aren't winning a title anytime soon, but he's turned the franchise around.

^^^^

I don't want a running point guard on the verge of a mid-life crisis, Nash is an illegitimate MVP and too damn old, especially for a team in the Knicks position.
