He has a point there was a time when KFC was super elite.

Haven't eaten KFC in almost 20 years now

But I remember in the 90's the Honey BBQ chicken, The Corn Fritters with the golden honey dip, and the Cheesecake in a cup used to go hard. And the KFC in jamaica slaps.

stopped fucking with KFC after they stopped offering the Classic Chicken sandwich with the Toonie Tuesday special.

My family worked there as teens and we ate so much ....KFC was in the hood so.

A lot of em closed down cause they were in areas where they locked doors at night and they had a box within a box to keep from being robbed.....it was right next to the hoe stroll

Yep the KFC I used to go to in the hood was on 12th Ave., and 62nd St., if you know Miami/Liberty city, you know exactly where that’s at but they closed down and now it’s a Dunkin’ Donuts for some strange reason

KFC and the word "elite" shouldn't be in the same sentence even in the 1980s and 90s.
I mean people in the hood used to buy KFC like crazy back then because it would always be packed or they would be sold out of chicken depending on what you wanted to order.

I know in the 80s and early 90s when I seen that bucket of chicken coming through the door I thought I was in heaven for a minute. Oh, and their biscuit was good too back then.

Man church's was/is greasy as shit..lol You could literally take a thigh or breast and squeeze out a big gulp sized cup of grease..lol
When I had time are used to take the church’s chicken home and put it in the oven let it cook for a few minutes on 350 to drain the grease and it taste so much better. Still it was dirt cheap back in the 90s so on days that I was super broke, I had to do what I had to do

When Col. Sanders held ownership of the franchise. KFC was on point.

He sold the franchise in the 60s, but had some input until his death in the early 80s. That’s when it started going to shit.

Same with Wendy’s, that food was no joke, but when Dave Thomas died, it went to shit.

Every time the founders of these restaurants die, the quality goes to shit cuz the mofos are more interested in profit with a shitty product than producing a quality product for the customer.

The same with Walmart.

When Sam Walton was alive, those stores were clean, fully staffed and customer service was up to high standards.

When he died and his sons took over, they went fully “Wall Street” and the store operations have gone into the toilet.

All for profit.
