HBO:The Night of..Official Discussion Thread

Ain't shit free.

His dad's co owners gonna hit him with the gta

Man fuck jail or prison, I ain't build for that shit.

Remember the police officer gave them Jack Stone's card for the GTA, I think this is going to play a big part in how he'll become Naz's lawyer again. He'll probably get the car out -- no GTA.

Man that was deep! The bitch lawyer is repping him to get the headlines. Dude took him under his wing, but when he showed the pic of his niece all butchered up I knew something was up. I like how Nas played it. He didn't snitch and looked ol boy dead in the eye as he was headed to see Omar. In the courtroom, it looked like he was starting to remember something. I can't wait to see what unfolds

Man fuck jail, prison or an place niggas is straight sharks.

Fuck that cac lawyer.

I wanna fuck that Punjabi ass bitch lawyer raw, raw in her curry ass pussy raw.

That hoe saw that nigga grease and was like wtf did I just catch, lol

Would seem like a lawyer that wants a big case would want to get their client off, and I think that may have been what initially got her to want it. Then looking at all the pictures and the evidence, maybe she started thinking; I can't get this mufucka off after all.

....oh, and I want to fuck the shit out of her token Indian co-chair chick. :fucking:

What was the point of the lawyer representing him if all she wanted to do was plea?

I think the Indian lawyer is probably going to leave her firm and help Stone on the case. SHe saw that she was just a token to get his parents onboard. Now I think she is in it to help Nas.

It seems they are also hinting that there is a history between the white female lawyer and Stone. Maybe former romantic involvement?

Feets got somewhat of a lead, stepdad fussin with some dude at funeral

I think Fred set it up, nobody touchin nas unless Fred say so.
Nah, Calvin looked shook when he saw Naz go see Fred. If Fred told him to do that, Calvin wouldn't have cared that Naz was going to see him.

The thing I like about this show and what's also frustrating but in a good way is that you have to erase every other prison show you've seen in your life out of your memory. I've never seen jail depicted like this on TV and you can't predict shit. Or maybe some of you can but I can't. I still don't know what Fred wants from him or what he's going to have to give up.

Yeah that's the only part I kinda was like "huh?" about. Like Fred got the place on lockdown and he's the boss around there but Calvin steading say some "Fuck Fred" and shit. Seems like that would've been addressed but I guess he was only acting wild like that around Naz because he sure was shook when he went up them stairs.

Why did Calvin throw the hot water on Naz? I dozed off.
Because his niece was brutally beaten and stabbed by her boyfriend and got off. Go back and watch it. He shows Nas a pic of her and you would expect a beautiful head shot worthy of a BGOL post, but its her bloody and battered body after the crime. So you knew something was amiss right then and there.

Yeah I saw that, but it doesn't explain why he threw the hot water on him.

The hot water was just him essentially him showing his dissatisfaction with the judicial system and how these dudes getting off on murders. He felt like the guy who killed his sister and Naz were parallel. They built that up from the beginning of the episode. I don't think the water was symbolic. It was just meant to hurt the fuck out of Naz.

I'm thinking he hopes Nas can help him out with his case sense Nas is book smart. Looks like Fred was running shit in the streets because of the newspaper on the wall that read "King of Queens". I think that's where his real power lies. Not only what he can get done to you inside but what he can get done to your people outside of jail.

Very good series so far. I think this goes eight episodes like True Detective
