Ok. So I caught up today. I just binged watched it. I don't know...Something is missing off the show. It can be witty at times. But I never laughed out loud. A few chuckles here and there. Baddest chick on the show is Tasha. Issa Rae is pretty, but her body is 'meh'. Probably the funniest one is the fat girlfriend.

It's good to see a realistic black show that's relatable to young black people and what we go through. Not that over the top Empire or Tyler Perry shit and not a show where we have to be rappers or sports stars or drug dealers... Just normal people going through normal life problems. It's a group of friends (women and men) who I meet up with to watch Insecure with and this show actually sparks hours of conversation between us afterwards about the nuances of dating/relationships and how it's viewed differently through a woman's eyes versus a man's.
