Ya'll don't know strip club negotiations. That was the starting price (sucker price) I won't front like I'm a professional trick, but I know if he would have gave herOH yea that stripper was fine as fuck..
but two hundred for head...
LOL
no fuckin way!!!!
That's not what he did at all lol.
He was moody and depressing because he was going out for interviews and not getting the jobs. You're talking like he stayed home and wasn't trying to work. He was frustrated because he kept going out for jobs and not getting them. He even expressed that frustration to her multiple times.. "I thought I killed it" "Why am I not getting the job?"
He and her don't have a family to feed, it's just the two of them so you with a family to feed is not in the same position as him without a family to feed.
So don't try to rewrite it like he was an xbox playing nigga sitting there not even trying to do nothing with himself while she was out working.
He was getting unemployment which means he WAS employed and LOST HIS GIG. the entire season he had been trying to get a job and failing at getting one and then went out for a LESSER job than one he deserved because of his education.
You don't think he was contributing to paying the bills they had with his unemployment check? lol
Why does a nigga ALWAYS need to be a shining example of black excellence? That's the point right there.
Why can't he go through a rough patch when he's trying to do better?
Fam lets not act like Lawrence was a shining example of Black Excellence when the series started.
He was moody, depressing, and stayed at home while his woman was out working.
I don't know about the next brother but if I'm laid off I'm taking any gig in the interim to help support my family. I can't in good conscience be at home looking like a bum in sweats while my woman is out at a job she hates for us.
And those first episodes the way he allowed Issa to treat him was terrible. I thought he was a weak for real, no wonder his woman ain't want to fuck him.
He was interviewing and not getting jobs because he had that large gap in his employment, the recruiter told him so and suggested he get anything to fill it out.
He didn't want those lesser gigs, and rightfully so, but Issa herself told her girl that she was tight that he wasn't willing to take "lesser" work and she felt he was bumming at home.
The brother Mack just explained a similar situation and some women act negatively if their man is at home while theyre working. Most of these chicks aren't built for the struggle and are selfish.
They want a ready made nigga, and back to my initial comment, Lawrence's situation caused Issa to lose attraction and faith in him.
Patrice O'Neal said a woman has to believe that her man can catch fish, because if she feels he can't fish no mo she's gone.
We all on the same page, I'm just arguing a counter opinion.
Did Issa walk in on Lawrence smashing bank teller or were they at bank teller crib?
Ya'll don't know strip club negotiations. That was the starting price (sucker price) I won't front like I'm a professional trick, but I know if he would have gave her
the gas face or waited til the end of the night, that 200 would have turned to $100-$50 in less than 5 minutes lol

100This shit right here!!! I won't share too much, but I was with my ex for almost 3 years, was gonna propose at our anniversary, the company I worked for closed and layed us off. They gave us a little something for our work to help so I wasn't really sweeting it THAT much. I got layed off start of the month, all my bills were paid for the month. I was looking, but I wasn't about to take anything either... She was supportive for all of the weekend. A week later she was on my ass, progress reports, no sex... It was like a switch flipped as soon as I didn't have a job. We didn't last another month. Shit wasn't perfect, but all it took was me losing my job and problems started popping up like the Viet cong. That whole experience changed my entire mindset about women. I love my lady, but I have seen the true nature of women behind the veil.
He actually mentioned in some way or other that he had a girl each time he saw her, @ the bank, when he was having lunch, & especially @ the store when he checked her.My wife just went deep and explained that she is mad that Lawrence smashed Tasha and not mad that he had sex with another woman.
She agrees that Lawrence did nothing wrong because he and Issa were broken up.
Her issue is that Tasha was obviously physically attracted to Lawrence and put herself out there numerous times even knowing he had a girl (she claims he mentioned Issa to her during his first trip to the bank, I'm not so sure).
Lawrence never returned her affections or beat around the bush, he did the right thing, so now by grudge fucking her she's mad that Tasha so easily and quickly allowed herself to be another notch on Lawrence's belt with the likelihood that Lawrence will end up back with Issa.
She said she would have rather it been any other bitch because it would have just been a lustful moment, but with Tasha she thinks she really likes Lawrence and he's going to continue the cycle of hurt people hurting people.
You can't gloss over the fact that dude had dropped down to being unmotivated which made him appear to be a different person, but you're RIGHT when you point out that she should have been talking to HIM and not Molly about how she felt.Deal with his unemployment ? he had savings and was getting unemployment checks while interviewing for a job the entire season lol
Issa shouldve been the one seeing him trying and saying you can do it. putting the battery in his back like I'd expect him to do for her in the same situation .
Either you with someone through ups and downs or youre not.
Issa was complaining about Lawrence to molly forever instead of just talking to him and telling him.
You can't gloss over the fact that dude had dropped down to being unmotivated which made him appear to be a different person, but you're RIGHT when you point out that she should have been talking to HIM and not Molly about how she felt.
SHE let her feelings fester to the point of raising resentment towards him & their relationship while, as far as he was concerned, nothing was wrong.
Therein lies a BIG problem with relationships, women tend to feel like the man should "sense" when things aren't right when that may not happen for weeks/months, meanwhile their anger towards us supposedly not understanding them festers whereas the WHOLE situation could have been nipped in the bud had she voiced how she felt to begin with, since men are in most cases problem solvers, but if we don't know that there's a problem, how can we go about solving it?!?
Communication is ALWAYS key, no matter what the relationship!
If Daniel had said he wanted a relationship that 1st night, she would've kicked Lawrence out the house.. and not nobody would've been like poor Lawrence.. which is a shame.
Mine, too.The bank teller played her position well and was rewarded.
My girl was pissed as I applauded Lawrence
And for all the discussions and differing points of view, this one fact makes any argument against Lawrence moot.
Issa was ready to risk it all EPISODE ONE!
I mean how selfish of this chick and her sycophants?
That's why men are cheering Lawrence today because we have the benefit of the 4th wall, he never knew Issa's level of depravity and still honored his commitment to his woman.
Issa starts the series off shitting on her man and her best friend. Her and Molly's relationship is toxic IMO because she feels she can embarrass Molly and expect her to be back in her corner when Issa's ready.
Truth.I'm not glossing over the fact that he dropped down and was unmotivated but people who have dropped down and are unmotivated are supposed to be able to lean on their partner to lift them back up otherwise why are they with them?
Like he's the one going through a rut... like if she was going through a rut, I'd expect him to be like it's going to be ok babe you're going to do it.. not just auto check out on him.
Even if she would've said you need to get your shit together dude that would've been better but she was super passive aggressive and like i said just ended up choosing to not communicate as the best form of communication...
If Daniel had said he wanted a relationship that 1st night, she would've kicked Lawrence out the house.. and not nobody would've been like poor Lawrence.. which is a shame.
"Well he needed to get his act together while his dreams are dying ain't nobody got time for that shit"
"I'm jus stunnin on my ex-bih".
