Ionno women pulling out stray man arguments today to justify their feelings about the finale.
To me its simple Lawrence was the MVP and can sleep with a good conscience knowing he stayed by his woman while she folded under pressure.

Like Tasha a hoe for smashing Lawrence when she know Lawrence doesn't want to be with her but don't criticize Issa for smashing Daniel when he clearly said he ain't want a relationship. The hypocrisy is hilarious.

Lawrence did nothing wrong. I can't stress that enough. If Issa woulda kept her damn legs closed, everything woulda been just fine.

I thought fam was chipping in with his savings and unemployment? I remember being in Lawrence position with an ex and it wasnt the fact I wasn't providing. She just hated seeing me at home when she was leaving and still there when she got home. And that only lasted for a month before shit hit the fan so I could only imagine months/years

He was moody and depressing because he was going out for interviews and not getting the jobs. You're talking like he stayed home and wasn't trying to work. He was frustrated because he kept going out for jobs and not getting them. He even expressed that frustration to her multiple times.. "I thought I killed it" "Why am I not getting the job?"
He and her don't have a family to feed, it's just the two of them so you with a family to feed is not in the same position as him without a family to feed.
So don't try to rewrite it like he was an xbox playing nigga sitting there not even trying to do nothing with himself while she was out working.
He was getting unemployment which means he WAS employed and LOST HIS GIG. the entire season he had been trying to get a job and failing at getting one and then went out for a LESSER job than one he deserved because of his education.
You don't think he was contributing to paying the bills they had with his unemployment check? lol

Exactly, Laurence isn't some bum nigga.
He's not like the bloods on his block. He's college educated and tried to branch out on his own.
You can tell from that scene at his job and the way he described how the stuff he was doing on his app surpassed their stuff at the company He's bright.
He was going through a rough patch and it proved he and Isa don't have a love thats unconditional.
Once the pressure was on she was looking for this bootleg timbaland cat.
