you know what, I remember a time when it was a shame for a woman to get pregnant outside of marriage and look where we are now. this is different. Like i said in my post, there's a time and place for everything. What if family had traveled long distances to see them and they get embarassed like that. Don't you think they already have a ton of pressure on them as it is? I recently went to a HBCU game and saw an alarmingly large number of black women who are obese AF. its time we acknowledged that fact...and if they made it a public spectacle, then we make it a public call out.

we both love black women. i love them enough to tell them the truth to their face....some times life is HARSH. thats what this experience was for them. their coddling from their supporters is not going to help them break out of the delusion of them being obese. in fact, itll hurt them in the long run FAM. life only gets harder as you get older.....im not saying that they shouldnt try to live their dream, but lets be brutally honest....black people as a whole have to struggle from jump...why add to your struggle as an individual by showing you have no love or discipline for yourself, your future spouse, or as in a capitalistic competitive society. we can make all the magazine articles and excuses but at the end of the day. Most men dont want women that size, esp under 30; over 30 and after a few children ...im good with bc THAT is life, after you have lived for a while....these young ladies are literally killing themselves, their future, and not looking at the prospect of having a healthy future with a husband and children. even the drs will tell you having a baby with that much weight isnt a healthy option. My cousin was that size when she was 28. the minute the dr told her she was going to have complications with having a baby ....i never saw such an incentivized turn around for her and her husband. she changed lifestyles, dropped that weight, had a child, and kept the weight off. but even she lamented that she allowed herself to get that big....most times young women get to that size through bad eating choices, expressions of depression, loneliness, other undiagnosed issues.
we can make ALLLLL the excuses in the world but at the end of the day, THE WORLD DOES NOT OWE YOU ME OR THEM UNDERSTANDING. it is what it is.
