The Hawks definitely drove the nail in the coffin, but I feel like the Wizards don't get enough respect for their part. The Wizards hack-a-Ben strategy both in the regular season & the 1st round that year is what broke Ben's confidence.

The Hawks saw the crack in the glass left by the Wizards and finished the job by shattering it into a million pieces live & in primetime on TNT. But give the Wizards their respect. They don't have much to celebrate over there. Every little bit helps.
