My best friend of 24 years blocked me on all social media and ignored all my texts and calls because we disagree about his Trump support. He texted me daily and added me to group texts praising Trump. I send 1, a total of 1 text joking with a “dumb republicans“ video and he gets so emotional he basically went ex-communicado. We eventually talked and it was passive aggression and shortness until and jus had to pass the phone. It was like talking to a complete stranger, not the best man at my wedding. I’m not mad or hurt, I’m jus at a loss. That Trump support is fanaticism. It’s how Hitler became so powerful. They don’t even say why they love him, they only talk about his opponents. It’s so beyond crazy to me.
I understand how a sane person could support Trump (for reasons stated previously: taxes, religion, etc.) but his cult of personality has members that are stone cold crazy. That's why I made that thread asking about Parler.
These people have learned how to segregate themselves on the internet. They are abandoning twitter for parler and youtube for bitchute so that they can remain in an echo chamber and not have to be subject to any other opinions other than the ones they believe to be true.
Don't get me wrong; liberals are guilty of this, too and some of them are on here. Kniggas who want to fight if you say Obama wasn't perfect in everything he did or kniggas who worship the Indian vice-prosecutor-elect.
Politics is like religion and it cracks me up to see some people who identify as atheist or agnostic and are just as fanatical about politics as evangelicals are about religion.

Nonetheless, you can't ignore why these Trumptards exist. Its partially because of people like me calling them Trumptarded.

Actually, a lot of it is media (social, too) driven. The media has realized that keeping people in panic mode is very profitable to them. The more frenzied people get, the more they (the media) spin the wheels of confusion, keeping people in a panicked state and the more commercials they can run to sell them shit to help distract people from the panic that they themselves induced.
