It's a lot of dumbazz people besides MAGA cult followers that still don't understand what and who is really causing inflation.

What's interesting too is seeing which restaurants can make it work & maintain that customer base. The restaurant or takeout experience still seeming of value, etc. And in turn people keep going back and / or telling their friends or family about it.
There's a few restaurants we deal with in and around the city or neighboring areas. They've had price increases, but they're reasonable and don't feel like they're gouging the customers.
It's a good feeling when you can recommend a place and say to people - "I've been there about 5 times in the past 2 - 3 years and the meals were consistently good, and the prices were fair ..."
And when you do try a place that offers good meals but is too highly priced or has smaller portion sizes, just tell your friends about that. "It's good and all ... but $$$ or small meals ..." just so they can do their own research and read up on some online reviews.
I said to some family in mid-October regarding one of our fave spots - "I don't write Yelp or Trip Advisor-type restaurant reviews ... but I'm considering writing up a favorable review for this place as I haven't had a bad meal experience here."

Man, it's really awkward sometimes with the prompt system, lol.
I ordered some pizzas by phone pre-COVID and picked them up in person. They were prompting for 20 / 25% tip ... I calmly asked where the 0% was.
I stopped using it because I’m in the DFW area and there is a lot of stop and go and tapping your brakes and it counted against me. So I said forget that
Because it’s just me and I don’t eat a lot, I don’t buy a lot anymore. I do try to buy what I know I’ll eat but I did just buy a new airfryer to start cooking again.

Hotel prices in America are completely ridiculous now.
It costs more to stay at a non disney resort in Orlando than it does to fly to a beach in Portugal from Atlanta.
Yes, it’s necessary. And I even take some solo trips now and I love it.
I agree but I also have an insider on hotels too. A friend in the business.
Nice. One of my friends who works at another location (in our organization) travels a fair bit. His older brother works at the Marriott, and he's able to get the family discount through him when he travels.
