Sitting here watching ESPN First Take. Stephen A. Smith just proposed that if the Heat fail to win the title this year, that the Heat not only be broken up, but that they attempt to trade Dwayne Wade & Chris Bosh to the Lakers for Kobe Bryant & Pau Gasol. What?! Maybe, MAYBE, on paper that doesn't look so bad but this really sounds absolutely absurd to me. No way in hell in my mind that LA would accept that trade, particularly giving up Kobe for Wade. Second, there's no way in hell I can see Kobe & Lebron working well together.

I'm just astonished that Stephen A. would say something so ridiculous. What ya'll think?

I think Stephen A. says some pretty insightful things a decent amount of the time. All of the networks say absurd stuff & go back & forth between predictions & overreact. But this suggestion here was totally insane to me.

I think what he was saying is... If Miami was to break up their 'BIG 3', that's a trade that would make sense for BOTH teams.... Of course, L.A. wouldn't do it because they want Kobe to retire as a Laker... BUT... It's a trade that would make sense AND both teams would come off with something GOOD...

the fakers would have to bundle draft picks with tobe just to get half the rights to ronny turiaf.
