Harlem Nights.... Just realized this when I saw this... Damn...

And of those still living, Sunshine looks more like a cloudy day...

If I saw her on the street... "walk on byyyyy" like Slick Rick. My old man said as we age we transition from fucking and partying to eating and drinking. Lot of people just slow down. You have to keep pace and keep that ass in the gym and if nothing more, daily walks. The gym is a fountain of youth and its not to be overlooked. She looks like she just came from the gym. Good for her. Try and stay as active as possible. Keeps the meat hard, keeps the mind sharp. Don't have to get all buff and shit, just keep that gut in check.

It be like that. You don't realize it until it hits close. When I'm researching and studying these older films, it's like watching ghost.

St. Louis Blues (1958) - All passed

Carmen Jones (1954)
Blaxploitation OG actors are still around, but there were also several that were in their upper 20s when they started who are holding on strong.
Fred Williamson
Jim Brown
James Earl Jones
Pam Grier
Bill Cosby

Still got Harry Belafonte and Sidney Poitier from the 50s era, which is impressive. There are no Black actors left from the 40s (not that I know of or can remember).

I don't know if I'm going to watch it or not, but Carmen Jones is coming on TCM tonight in about 10 minutes.

The best "caper" movie of all time and one of the funniest comedies ever! Did you know Della Reese was a minister during the making of this movie and wrestled with her dialog in the flick? Ya blind mothafuckas!

Hey who is the breh with the open collar shirt in the op's pic posted next to Ronaldo Ray?

Watching it the other day it didn't occur to me that Tommy from Martin got killed off. :hithead::hithead::hithead:

Lawd so much talent has gone on.
