season of the witch got alot of flack because john carpenter wanted to make halloween into a anthology movie series and folks didn't know michael was not in it. it was a good movie. if it was jsut named season of the witch i think it would of fared off better with horror fans. more thriller with dark magic/sci-fi.

how about when jamie lee goes to her friend's crib and witness all her dead friends in the bedroom. while she's in the corner crying this nigga michael's face just appears out of the darkness. that shit scared the shit out of me as a kid lol.

if we talking the the 1st film. then halloween takes this one. friday the 13th only scared me when jason jumped out of the water at the end of part 1. i enjoy friday the 13th 4,6,( how the fuck do they have some fake dude in a mask running around gutting folks in pt 5,) those were the tommy saga. tommy actually killing jason as a kid. then suffering from ptsd in part 5 . that ptsd was heighten with some bozo killing fools for no reason) part 6 is tommy trying to rationalize in his mind that jason is dead. so he escapes from a mental institution with a fellow inmate( red shirt) to dig up jason and actually send him to hell. in doing this , jason is stuck by lighting and resurrected as the unstoppable creature we know now. tommy traps jason at the bottom of crystal lake, chained to a big ass rock til part 7 comes out ( which is the best friday the 13th film.

Friday the 13th is better. I don’t understand why some say halloween is better. I found Jason movies to be more scary and more interesting. Halloween is good but Jason is better.

Halloween doesn't even have any gory or classic kills, friday was a hit out the gate from day one. Halloween lost steam after the second time.
