This topic is a little off my typical interests which is conspiracy theories and truth telling. Many of you cut your own hair and the clippers come with a plastic guard for the blade that is just a good feeding ground for bacteria that cause all kinds of nasty skin infections pitting your scalp with dark spots. Many of you with just leave this part on to protect the black after each cut, you might be better off discarding it. Everytime I cut my hair, I would break out really bad. I would disinfect my blades, but would slip that plastic guard piece back on to my clippers.

You and your barber should be cleaning this piece out, and washing your scalp with anti-bacterial soap after cutting your hair.
