So it doesn't matter what part of the country you're in...If the machine wants you to hear Jeezy or Jay all day, that's what you get


But out of all the regions that had the ball...The south has by far put out the shittiest mainstream music and everyone had to sit there and ride that shit out.

Not really.

You might need to be specific when you talk about the south because different regions produce different type of music.

Texas has a heavy west coast feel *due to the fact that a lot of black Texans have family from Cali*. Not to mention, D.O.C. influence a lot of cats out here.

Atlanta rap will be vastly different from New Orleans rap. New Orleans rap would be different from Texas rap. Miami does what they wanna do *basically strip club shit*. This is how the south could keep a hold on mainstream radio.

Cali, and New York only have ONE distinctive sound. If it's not that, then yall not supporting it. That's why your coast had to sit the fuck down. Same with New York.

TI, and Gucci were entertaining from a ignorant way. Waka is great workout music. I never really liked Jeezy as much as others. When Jeezy got hot, I was jamming Lil Keke, Trae, and Zro. Not to mention, UGK.
