Gucci bought his wife a Drophead Double R

Bgol accounting.. Sheesh

Bro.. My 1st publishing check was 100k. I'm nooooooooo where near his level. He was getting mil ticket advances (from labels & pub houses) a long time ago.. Apparently he recoups if he keeps getting them. Smoke & mirrors at times, but I'm pretty sure he's legit. And don't forget that he's put a lot of artists on. Those advances filter thru his hands too. I've never sold a million records & I don't have a 9-5, but publishing sustains even little ol me.

Gucc been in the game since '01. We were in the mix at big cat records. The bag was heavy then g

First let me say congrats on your success. I know who ya'll are. Been hearing your production since you were trying to get on. My man from Huntsville put me on your stuff long time ago. I'm from Atlanta, used to work in the industry in Atlanta, and New York when the bags were much heavier trust me. Gucci used to be managed by Jacob York when he first came in the game. I know what that paperwork looked like, and trust me he ain't eating off a lot of that early stuff like that. But the bag being heavy is subjective, so I will let you have it. Just know that over my 20 plus years on BGOL, the BGOL accountants have been right more times than wrong. I don't practice counting another man's pockets, so I'll wish the young brother the best. I have seen this story play out before many times.

Fellaz I understand the music industry very well. :lol:This guy ain't making all this money off no music. I've booked him several times, no exactly how much he makes and understand that he is charting on other artist songs, but he spending money like he Diddy. It's smoke and mirrors, trust me. I'm just wondering who is putting all this money up, and how they expect to get their money back.

I agree, he does appear to be very very successful for someone who doesn’t sell a lot of records.

Respect King.

So why do Labels continue to invest in his brand? Bro has a couple of hits w/ top tier artists since '07.. (black Beatles was#1 for most of year in 16), has his own label, shows non stop, hell he hits Huntsville for $35k 2x a year at least (we're like 109 in market rankings) so it's no telling what he's getting elsewhere, and has remained hot for at least 10 years. I'd say subjectively... That's nice change in any year. His catalogue alone should keep him in high tax bracket..

I figure things weren't initially in his favor, But I can't see him getting jerked too tough at this point. York, Deb, Cat.. He left those he accused of robbing him. But I think over time he was able to get his bearings from a business perspective.

Btw, What are you doing these days? We should chat offline sometime

The house he's living in is worth $9,000,000. Fact. He has about $2,000,000 in cars. FACT. So even if he has notes how can you explain the revenue stream needed to cope that? I trust none of what I here and half of what I see homie. Respect for being in the game all these years tho.

That is hot, good for them both.

Go to prison, stop drinking alcohol and lean. Stop smoking weed and doing other random drugs while in prison and also workout.

Continue the same regimen once you get out.

You take away the going to prison and drinking lean part; we have a deal.

All that salt gon' up and kill ya

I thought she had her own money before they started dating like a few million? Asking.
Not million but she wasn't hurting. According to him he really didn't have to many people he could trust with his belongings so he give it to her while he did a bid. While he was locked up she finesse her own line of makeup and fitness shit to a million dollar come up. When he got out she give him back his shit and some. Seems like she really self sufficient and loyal from what the eye can see. All I know is she been with the dude for a while now and seem to be all for him doing better so salute to her for that.

Still trying to figure out how Gucci is making so much money. He damn sure ain't selling any records.

Shows, merch, appearances, royalties (still got checks coming in from over 10 years ago), plenty of money rolling in. Gucci is indeed the Trap God.

I ain't gonna lie I wondered the same thing. Seem like soon as he camw home he was flossing in crazy jewelry, European fashion and cars and everything else. He must have one hell of a situation.

Why is that your concern, does he owe you some money?

Actually he does. We booked him for a show, back in the day and sent half to his manager, and he never showed up or returned the bread. Hope that answers your question. I know what he was making then, and I know what he charges now.
