I thought that was the point. Get the machines to do all the work for us. Human existence can no longer be based on doing work everyday.
Bruh, I'm saying these corps and elites must have some nefarious plan for the humans ~~for example, it might be to depopulate the planet or something. It's not going to be humans just chillin' all day with a stipend doing nothing; these elites and corps have a some type of plan.
Then you dont know many, especially in this economy.
Then who is going buy all their stuff?

The human population hit 1 billion back in 1804.
The human population hit 7 billion back in 2011.
Then the human population hit 8 billion back in 2022.
Estimates are predicted the human population will hit 10 billion by 2061.
Where those folks gonna live, the amount of infrastructure that will have to be built along with food production is going to be a challenge, along with climate change affecting the environment making it harder to produce various foods.
And we got these whacked out crazy religious nutjobs around the world restricting access to birth control which ain’t helping.
That's what I'm saying, there is some plan that we don't know about.
The restricting access to birth control is really more about the decreasing birth rates of the global white population, though.
The plan with AI is to lesson expenses so they can make more money.
I think the only plan for the populace is to get us to work and consume for as long as possible. We could have had free education and health care in America 100 years ago but we don't because that would give people freedom and they don't want that. They want us to be scared so we work and consume.
So we are going to reach an en passe either kill off a lot of people (which also kills your consumers) or pay them to stay home and consume. I think pay them to stay home and consume is the only option that keeps the game going somewhat but that doesn't mean they won't try to kill off a bunch of people first. But yeah universal income or mass extinction are the only choices.
I was supposed to be a graphic designer. Taught myself computers and stayed the course and never looked back. Wish I was as creative as I was when I was younger but glad I got into something more stable and lucrative.
Yeah, they want these White chicks to start pumping out kids like a PEZ dispenser to increase the White population numbers.
But they still need Black women to pump out kids to keep the Prison population numbers up.
If they can have the same things without humans or at least few of them then why not. They can always start over lol.

I don't think it's a collective they. I think many powerful corporations are trying to make as much money as possible. That's it. So they are utilizing AI to make more money by using less workers. They don't care what happens to society after that. As long as they are buying products they don't give a shit. The government will have to deal with all the other shit. The government will have to decide to let people starve or to pay people off. It's a smart decision to pay people to keep the money going. 80billion is all it would take to pay every household 200k a year. Make education and healthcare free and now people have enough to not work if they don't want to. Take out the lazy people and there are enough jobs for everyone else.
What you said sounds like the rosy version of society; I think the society will be run like subjugated prison labor, whole communities under the control of certain corporations working for free. The government and the major corporations will merge and this will be a dystopian fascist society where good health care will only be available for the elites not much different from today. The façade of democracy will melt away, & the AI will be used to control the population through drones, faces recognition, & those AI robots who patrol the streets at night. & if you're out beyond the curfew time, those AI robots and drones will kill at will. In sum, if you don't bow to the elites then that's a death sentence.
Back in the day, I saw this documentary on GMOs and they talked how the saving grace of the planet could be the seed vault; however the corporations who produce those GMO seeds hate the seed vault because they represent bio-diverstiy while the corporations represent a seed mon-culture. In sum, this seed vault is the enemy to the corporations so one day in conjunction with the military, the elites and the corps will probably bomb the seed vault or destroy it in a similar fashion.
