(1) Authorities took 23-year old Israel Rogers and 18-year old Chanteria Jackson of Kinston into custody.
Police say they got a tip Wednesday morning about a robbery near Arrington's Auto Repair on Lejeune road.
Police think the two suspects broke into seven cars in the lot before taking off. That's when they were stopped by police at a stop sign and arrested.

(2) A judge ruled Thursday that Wilbur King Jr. is not guilty of sexual battery.
The charge stemmed from an alleged May 9 incident in which Chanteria Jackson, who was 17 at the time, said King molested her while she was employed by King's Restaurant on U.S. 70. Jackson claimed King, the former owner of the business who is now the vice president, trapped her in a banquet room and proceeded to unbutton her shirt, touch her breasts and make a host of sexually-explicit remarks to her.
(3) This is not the first time allegations of sexual abuse have been made on Jackson's behalf. Pollock testified that she filed a complaint with the KDPS against one of its officers who was involved in a romantic relationship with Jackson. He was 38 and she was 16.
She also reported to police that a man engaged in consensual sex with Jackson when Jackson was 13. The event, she testified, happened at her residence.
Pollock also testified she had indeed served 70 months' imprisonment for transporting crack cocaine.
