GOP Just Passed That Bullshit Tax Reform Like Thieves in the Night They Are....12.2

Fellas, I IMPLORE you, if you're on the poverty line, or close to it, do everything you can to remove yourself as far away from it as you can. Everything takes time, but planning for the future never happens in a moment, anyway.

I say that because, you NEVER know what will happen in life. Do not bet on Trump being the last president being the antithesis of your self-interest. No one foresaw him getting in there. Beyond politics, things can happen that can break you financially if you're not prepared.

Everyone isn't going to be rich, but if you're of sound mind and body, you can better your situation - even in a racist ass country like the United States. When it comes down to simply financially empowering yourself, racism works more like obstacles in your path than handcuffs in the USA. Certain money trails can make racism a complete non-factor.

Do not misunderstand my intent for stating this, 'cause I'm being extremely serious right now. Because a decision I made 11 years ago, I'm not concerned about any of this. I now plan to move my base out of South Carolina to a more tax friendly state - I travel A LOT, and just use South Carolina as home base where I vote, pay taxes, etc - but this is but a mere hiccup compared to the impact that this will have on some people.

When I first started, I didn't have a clear-cut plan, I just knew struggling was something I needed to be over and done with. Persistence and patience are underrated. You can be persistent and patient in trivial things, and persistent/patient in meaningful things. While persistence guarantees nothing, the quality of your planning and efforts increases the chances of success.

To sum this all up, stay out of debt, invest your money wisely, and don't get married on American soil.

Two things. One, poor people don’t have options. The idea you can look a poor person in their eye and tell them to “knock it off”, and they heed your tough-it-up talk is pretty silly.

Two, how about you take your most precious resource and leave? At what point do we admit this country is pretty bad? They poison the food you eat, the water you drink, and the air you breathe. The schools they send us to are filled with metal detectors and lead pipes (that they can’t afford to fix) to be taught my women who are under qualified and over sexualized. They then send us back home on our pot-holed streets, to our dilapidated, century-old house, where we wait to be murdered by someone. Because everyone has a gun and a short fuse.

Nancy had the opportunity/mandate to do whatever she wanted too. They choose to play defense instead of offense. That’s fine. Let them get their tax cuts. Let them repatriate their money as quickly as possible.

I’m not voting for anyone unless they run on the platform of taxing wealth in this country at 99%. There’s a deficit now, with candidates who eschew my beliefs that will be green again in 2 years.

I don't know why so many believe this will lose republican voters. Those voters will rather vote for a child rapist than a dem. They so locked in, this is nothing. Whether this bill hurts them or not.

Exactly. Certain people on here think Republican voters will "wake up"? Wake up from what? They want this, they don't care if it hurts them as long as they win.

Alabama is a special case everywhere else when the trump voters look into their pocketbooks and see nothing is there they going to run back to the Democrats.

Again you can apply that logic to every state Alabama is a special case you see what happened in Virginia last month so yeah is a blue wave,

What about people that care about more than themselves?

I don't know. I'd like to think you're right, but I've gotten past assuming that people are going to do the right thing or the best thing at this point.

One of the amendments written by the lobbyist: "Prohibit cash and gift cards to be awarded for employee achievements"
I really hope the news organizations go through the Tax bill Very thoroughly because there is going to be some major bullshit is some of those provisions that need to get out there

Nothing I said would prevent anyone from being a caring person. However, I am assuming that self-preservation matters on some level.

Am I wrong?

Charity starts on the home front, tho'.

If I died today, someone may suggest a thread be created for me, and there will be some people who express condolences . . .

. . . and that is that. That won't change my family's financial situation if shit isn't in order, tho'.

I can't expect other people to do for me and my loved ones what they should be doing for their own. If they did, that'd be great, but it is not their responsibility.

One of the reason I cant stand these shows is because of how rude the host are. The host talk every day making their points. I would assume and as common courtesy, when you invite a guest it’s to hear “their thoughts on the matter” not to cut them off before they can even answer the question and bombard them with 3 questions at a time.

By potential he passing the final version of this bill they are not going have any money to do a infrastructure bill

I don’t every agree with anything in fox but I completely agree with David here... Reaganomics doesn’t work. It didn’t work in the 80s and it definitely doesn’t work now. Giving tax breaks to the wealthy isn’t going to stimulate the economy because most of these rich people’s products are outsourced in other countries and not into job creation here. Why would you... with a cheaper labor.

It’s the mom and pop business that you need and that’s why you need a payroll tax cut. But repubs are greedy as fuck.

The entire philosophical concept of the Republican.. can’t work. It can never work.

Shits going to do the same thing it always does... lead to a fucking recession.

Now that I’ve gotten my political rant out of my system.

These mutherfuckering bankruptcy filings are going to start going back up mutherfuckers.

My ass might have to start wearing a mink Business suit when I walk into court in 2018.

It’s funny the same bill they passed last night is the same thing they tried to do in Kansas and Oklahoma that blew up in their face just recently

I'm trying to follow this y'all, but I'm not understanding how I can help at this point.

Should we be calling our State Representative?

Right. It never EVER works. Shit is so retarded. It certainly enriches the folks bankrolling this bullshit (and from that perspective it's working exactly as intended) -- but it's a fucking disaster for the economy every.single.time. Fuck.... this shit is exhausting man.

There are not enough jobs for the working poor.

I invest in the market. I'm not going to make enough to live on. Shit is a fucking lie. Not everyone can be a day trader.

Bootstraps is bullshit, the market needs the poor. There will always be that segment of society that is preyed upon.

There is always going to be a segment of society that will never own a home. This bill makes sure of that. It will also cause some working class family's to lose their homes.

So miss me with that bullshit. Lots of people who live modestly, have children and own homes with 2 working adults are going to be destroyed. First you have to dip into retirement funds, then 401k and college funds. Then one person's job down sizes to further increase share holders dividends and proof. American dream gone.

You're way off. Avg person not affected. You listed very specific examples, and the middle class can make money if they invested. Wall Street is going to love tax breaks for the rich. Mountain of money to be made before a crash and then you invest in real estate when it's low. Always opportunities no matter the politics
If the average person was investing and owned real estate they wouldn't be middle class. The average person not affected....are you serious?

What bubble are you living in?

Seventy-eight percent of full-time workers said they live paycheck to paycheck, up from 75 percent last year, according to a recent report from CareerBuilder.

Overall, 71 percent of all U.S. workers said they're now in debt, up from 68 percent a year ago, CareerBuilder said.

this post is 100% certified, unfiltered, heartbreaking truth.

to say that I am troubled about what lies ahead for all of us, would be an understatement.
