I have 2 kids in college and they kickin my ass with the cost of books. I see some of the books on Google books. Anybody know how I can download the books off of there.

I saved a couple dollars this semester because they renting the text books instead of buying them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Kinda hard with college books, best bet with amazon and make sure you sign up for the prime service(free) geared towards college students...save extra money that way...good luck, just spent about $500 dollars in books...then again my classes are advance so..
 
check the thread "how is porn staying afloat?" or somepem like that. there's a cat in there that said he get's his college books for free by downloading them I think.
 
Google books have some of the books online I think there in PDF form. I dont know how to get it off the site.

Yeah they makin a killin on books. I just paid over 600 to RENT some books. Wish I would have thought of that idea.

Honestly, for me atleast i need to have those books in my hands when reading and highlighting, underlining etc..i can't study effectively with PDF, especially ones that are obvious copies of the real thing. A none important book maybe, but one thats critical for my classes...i couldn't do it
