Where online can such items be found .... I need to buy the wife a maxi dress by August and need some good websites to browse... Somewhere that carries 18 & below... I know this areas has some ladies that would know such things and if you don't ask your homegirl n post it here please!!!


Yes I did check my local Ashley Stewart that serves the younger women in town and they had nothing, lets not get into Lane Bryant. Oh an I checked Torrid.com which was too skaterish for her..

Normally, 16/18 is the gateway to plus size. From what I've seen any place that carries an 18 and below isn't going to do you any good- best to stick to places that carry 18 and above unless they have an ok selection for both ends.


With that said try Old Navy.



*Side Note
Since you said 18 and below, it sounds like her clothes size fluctuate. In a maxi dress as long as it fits the upper area and its not too tight in the hips she might can pass with a 14 or a 16. But mostly it will depend on the design and maker of the dress.
