GM, you guys really fucked up

Pontiac Firebirds are holding their value like a mf.
and a used 16 year old Pontiac G8 GT will still run you about $25k - 40k right now

I still see G8s that the owner put Holden badges on. I've always liked Holden and as soon as GM pulled the plug on them in Australia I said "Fuck GM." We didn't get the SS, GTO or Sport Ute. Now these mofos act like they don't know how to build a sedan or wagon that people like and have those shitty SUVs running rampant. I know, before someone comes in here saying SUVs SELL but fuck em any ways!

Yeah, we bailed out some dumbasses. The other side that the video left out is that even though nobody was buying Buicks here, they kept Buick because the brand in China was doing very well. Back then before China caught up to our auto market a Buick was considered top end of the market luxury and a status symbol. Pretty much all the Buicks you see now (Envista, Envision, Encore)in their line-up is directly here because of what the brand was selling is China except the Enclave which is only Buick built specifically for the American market, albeit a rebadging of the Traverse/Acadia platform. Now, Buick is a dying brand in China because they have better domestic cars that are cheaper and the people aren't naive to what the Buick brand is worldwide. So expect Buick to die once soon.

Yep, I think Pontiac actually outsold Buick when it was axed instead of Buick due to that China connection
