Today, I went for an interview and it turns out that I have a good shot at getting the position. Only thing I have that is of concern is a small run-in with the courts in my younger days (more than 12 years ago). I was innocent with the run-in but the arrest record is what will show and they’ll most certainly scrutinize it.
Anyhow, I was thinking… I’ve been fortunate and blessed (not really religious) in life and wondered what I could do to gratify myself if I landed the position as it’s exactly what I’m looking for. I was thinking of ways to really make a difference in someone’s life. I thought about giving to a church or something but I really hate not seeing where my money is going other than to keep the lights on in someone else's establishment.
So here it is… I will donate my first paycheck to someone that can prove their desire to be debt free. I’m not talking about someone that wants a debt paid off as we all want that. I’m talking someone that’s actually helping themselves and aren’t looking for a handout as I’m a firm believer in helping those that help themselves.
Of course this is all contingent on me actually landing the position and I reserve the right to pick the person I seem the most worthy (it will not be someone I know personally). The successful recipient must provide detailed proof (receipts, budgets, etc) on debt and what they’ve done to try to become debt free.

The recipient will be paid by certified check or paypal (which ever is most convenient). Only thing I ask in return is to post what the reward went towards within the RDL website.
