Rudy does this because he knows it's going to come out anyway. So he's trying to get out ahead of it and soften the blow. Admit it happened. Then say whatever happened is not a big deal. Say whatever happened is not only not a big deal, it's not a crime.

He also doubled down on the fact that Trump was still negotiating Trump Tower Moscow until Nov. 2016. That was months AFTER he got the intel briefings that Putin was attacking America.. yet he was negotiating a deal directly with the Kremlin after he got the intelligence briefing showing the Kremlin had initiating cyber war. That alone is an impeachable offense.

Yep. They were in heavy communication with Mueller's team before making the statement. Mueller's team underestimated how much info Buzzfeed head and they didnt want anyone "Defining" the investigation. I think this will end up being like the Steele Dossier scenario. There will be some things that will be wrong, but in totality, it will pretty much match up with what happened.
