Your logic is unbelievably flawed. Just like on youtube, streamers make money from ads/sponsors, subscriptions/patreon, etc. The more popular they are, the more they make( just like tv). Youtube takes a portion of the streamers revenue(i believe 30%). So, they TAKE money from the streamers. Not the other way around. Youtube and twitch are just platforms. The amount of money a streamer makes is solely dependent upon how popular that person is.Youtube is owned by Google and is almost 20 years old. Youtube is the 2nd largest search engine in the world, their orbit is large enough to have people earning that much off of that platform. Twitch was bought by Amazon for less than a billion, the CEO of Twitch resigned in March, Twitch has laid off a lot of their staff this year. Twitch is NOT Youtube.
