stupid on both teams parts.......

c/s And I'm from the area. Not that I would have no resigned him. But to get a shooting first point guard, that plays no D and doesn't tell his coach he's NOT going to play? If he wasn't such a fuckin basket case, I say give him the money. :smh:

I got Wizards season tickets and for entertainment value Gilbert brings folks in to the arena but basketball wise he treats the game like a pick up game, no defense, high risk passing, uncoachable, stubborn, and now injury prone.

I swear the Wizards are the only franchise I can think of that gets its self in more pickles over players with suspect character and injury concerns.

I can almost see it now Arenas dragging a bad leg around for the rest of his career, him playing in infrequent intervals and his attitude about defense and team play plummeting until he's older, damaged goods they can't possibly trade until the final year of the deal.

WTF!!!!! R the Zards doin first dis nicca:

That was actually a good pick the the Wizards. You will see.

As for maxing out Arenas?? :smh:

Bad teams do bad things. This is why the Wiz are the Wiz. There are better options available and not ONE TEAM that is able to offer him more than 100million. Why the fuck would the Wiz overpay for this clown?? I would let him walk to the warriors in a heartbeat, then turn my attention toward, Brand (more of an option prior to overpaying for Jamison), Maggette, Davis.

I think the Warriors offered him 105 million...suprised me...I didn't think another team would offer him their max...

lawwwwwdd have mercey if you aint spoke the truth..gilbert is a great addition for an AND1 tournament but in terms of leading a team past the first round of the playoffs...NAAAAAHHHH...Thats why I feel bad for Eddie Jordan because as much as he tries to emphasis defense he has nobody on his roster who really wants to play it...should have kept Rip Hamilton...

Here we go again.
The Wizards never learn with the large ass max-out contracts for "Hot Right Now" stars. Amd I'm a Gil fan, but I'd much rather see the Wizards put that money towards building a great supporting staff to complement Antwan Jamison and Caron Butler.

- Juwan Howard
- Chris Webber
- Jerry Stackhouse
- Kwame Brown

even as a BEST case scenario he doesn't deserve that kinda money... yeah he gonna score points, but is that what you need from him to win? look at how well the wizards played when his ballhogging ass was injured, more ninjas contributed and the more versatile members of the Wizards threesome (i.e. Jamison, Butler) rightfully became more focal points of the team rather than just standing around watching arenas try to be Mike:angry::angry:...

and that dude isn't even 100%, may never be 100% again.... after that first month of the season, the wear and tear on that knee may pop up just like it did last season... and you giving him MAX money?!:eek:

GTFOH :lol::lol:

all the wizards need is another decent forward, a competent pass-first PG and brendan heywood to keep playing like he did last year and they'll be straight...

i'd be showing Zero the door and trying to draw up a decent deal to pull josh smith away from ATL:yes::yes::yes:... BEASTLY athlete, tough defender and his offense improving... dude has much more team upside than arenas IMO

cosign on josh smith. mofos are nuts not to be goin at that dude.

anyway fuck it at least the Warriors putting some type of effort in....Arenas would be nuts in the Nelly system though!
