Giants will release RB Brandon Jacobs today

I always got love for Brandon Jacobs. He started running hard later in the season when the Giants started their run, I just wish he ran like that all the time.

The Steelers need a short yardage back, to get 3rd and 2s, 2nd goals, so that they can banish the notion from Rapesbugger's every play is 60yard hail mary to Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown. If we had had this guy, we would have won that game against the Ravens where all we had to do was hold the ball for 3 minutes..

Further proof that you don't know ish about football, the Giants WERE THE WORST in the NFL in 3rd & 1 situations for the past 3 years running, we had the worst 3rd down efficiency in the league for 2/3rds of the season, we actually had 3 games where we didn't convert a single 3rd down in the first half of those games.

Jacobs not gaining a yard on 3rd & 1 dates all the way back to when he was stopped twice in the same game, a 26-11 playoff loss to the Eagles after going 12-4, the season when Plaxico shot himself.

Why do you think everyone is referring to him as the "Tippy-toe Burglar", he'll run over dudes on 1st and 2nd down, then try to bounce outside on 3rd & short and get tackled for a loss!

As big as he is, you can't think of him as a good short yardage back cause he's not!

He can get 1,000 yards with another back, if he's the feature back he'll get hurt, trust!

Manning just restructured his contract so they could keep free agents and get other. Jacobs was offered less money to stay but thinks he is worth more.

Luck to him.....He has two rings and there are many who never get one.
