I think you should get rid of posts that are not on topic in this particular thread (not a precedent for other threads that go to the left)

So, all off-topic posts should be deleted. THEN I hope that precedence is adhered to by deleting all off-topic posts in threads. So when people get off on their flirting tangents, those posts can be exterminated as well.
