Thanks to the information age, those that were previously disadvantaged can now find college reading materials from Ivy League Colleges on the web. You no longer have to pay increasingly high college tuition to have access to much of the information at such colleges including BA,MBA, and PHD learning. One can visit any Ivy League Website: Harvard, Yale, M.I.T, etc...,locate a degree of interest in the course syllabus, find the books used in those classes and purchase those books from the web. Hell, with M.I.T free long distance learning courses you can even perform homewrok assignments. Now how is that for progress?
Regardless of not making the connections that one does in college (the seperatist mindset of other students usually undermine connections aimed at upward mobility for African Americans anyway) the ive league websites offer a wealth of information for African Americans to learn from. This is such an asset that you can use that information to become better innovators in the African American community. What are people going to do, stop you from reading?
