Did you have all his failures wrote down on a notepad?
LoL
On top of all the failures that u just highlighted, he also went through a lot of adversities prior to great success of Roc-A-Fella records. You'll get some W's, youll catch some L's...shit happens! Dame couldve been "Jay Z rich", but he chose not to. But like Jay Z said himself, Dame will be good because at the end of the day Dame is a hustler/survivor.
I give Props to Gary for coming on the Breakfastclub and reinforcing what Dame already said. FREE schooling from two successful businessmen. Props to them both!
it's about spending your time and energy more about progressing than spending your time doin nothing.. if people took an hr a day and read info on how to use the internet, learn technical things on how to use ur pc, editing, learning about stocks, etc instead of spending time watching some reality tv show they more likely will develop more tools to generate more money..that's what him and various others mean by utilizing ur time to benefit yourself..ever hear people say they're bored and have nothing to do?? well if they used their "bored" time to learn more things or actually go out and try new things u could progress more.. 1 of the number 1 excuses for people not to go down the entrepreneur route or better themselves is they don't have enough "time"... if u took away all those time consumers and replaced them with progressive material u'd see a growth in money with a lot of people
Tell me what part I made up. I'll be here
ok mighty queen of the strawman argument..
Im talking about the dude being interviewed, and you bringing up his
father and what he may or may have not done....
I as well as you dont know what the father did to acquire the liquor store sure he couldve worked hard, or he couldve been in a mafia, who knows.
its not about him
the topic is about his son and his accomplishments,
you always do that,
create a whole other paradigm just so you could be right about something....
thats yo whole fishy red herring style....
you act like his father was there sitting next to him being interviewed....
and many successful white dudes parents or grand parents had a shady past... from trump to the kennedys...
this dude is not that famous to know what his parent really did or how they acquired that money...
he aint gonna tell you, just like trump will never tell you his immigrant grand father ran a whorehouse in canada..
so you bringing up his father just to prove a point shows the extent you will go through to be right about something
whether its the topic or not.....
o mighty red herring queen!!!
So I ask you to point out something I made up and you can't lol.
Now you've learned the word "red herring" and wanna use it. Outta context at that lol.
Saw that Gary V interview a few days ago.
Good interview.
But his interview was actually just a "nicer version" of this interview:
Dame basically talked about the same stuff.......yet Dame's message offended Envy & 80% of BGOL. Which means Envy & 80% of BGOL needs to grow thicker skin before they consider being Entrepreneurs.
straw man... red herring. You're all over the place. Bottom line, dude gave good reasons on how to win, and you wanna show how you can lose.No silly straw man queen, you interject an argument that is not part of the debate...
Was his father being interviewed? Did his father write books or held seminars on how you can be successful??
How do YOU know for certain how his father got money, How do you know his father wasnt a gangster like JFKS father or an owner of a whorehouse like Trumps immigrant father....??
youre straw man arguments may work with some posters, but not with me....
you can have all week and I still wont be going for that bullshit..
lol

Absolutely. What's funny is the part where he broke down the Amazon store stuff, I already do. My cousin put me on to it. She goes SUPER HARD at it and makes a couple Gs a month doing Amazon arbitrage. This is waaaaaaay better than Dames interview. Or 90% of Boyce's talks.
Practical action items and identifying clear sacrifices that has to made.

I don't do it like her but I made a profit. It takes a little effort but it's definitely a good hustle and a lot of people are doing it. Google Amazon arbitrage and you'll see a ton of people advising on how to do it. My cousin coached me, and I don't have the time to do it like she does but it's a real thing.
Great interview inspiring. I haven't seen the Dame interview but I'll watch it next.
As for him getting the store from his dad. He was primed to run that business, he benefited from his fathers hard work and knowledge on how to run it. Having grown up with that business knowing how to run it, business acumen would come easier to him. Train up a child in the way he should go... All it took is for him to expand upon his fathers business with his own ideas like any good child inheriting his business should do.
Depending on what standing the business was in when his father passed it on to him could determine how much harder he'd have to work to make it a successful one because you don't just inherit the profits you inherit the debt as well. He started young hustling so dealing with money and people is second nature to him so id imagine he'd have an edge on anyone who'd never owned a business before even if he didn't get his fathers store. Seems like ownership was in his future anyway.
Yeah he got a head start but he was prepared to take over.
Vaynerchuk is that dude if anybody is sleeping on him. Can't believe The Breakfast Club brought him on. Gotta give them props. I see they're trying to do a little better than just Love and Hip Hop and who Nicki Minaj is sleeping with.
I sold a ton of fucking Yankee candles. Apprentlybolf white women eat that shit up. And other bullsht I just bought on clearance from bed bath and beyond and TJ maxx. Now thats some good posting there.....
as associate of mine made some good money

Something slimey and fishsy about this guy... just cant put my finger on it!

It's all gone now and I need to go out more stuff in there. Honestly i hate shopping though and my cousin loves that shit. It's tedious.
If I didn't already have a business, I'd try to do it more though. It's a true legal hustle.
My cousin found it when she was trying to set up her Amazon store for her handmade products.
She also finds products through Ali baba, talks to the manufacturers, gets them to put her logo and branding on it and sells that too. Crazy.
This dude is full of shit and the pandering made me cut it off and he started quoting BHW/WFO shit. It's Amazon to EBay/Craigslist and Walgreen's to Amazon, idiot! FoH for giving away the startup money/holiday secret hustle.
He probably did this I terview to shit on somebody that scammed him.
True, true but the REAL money maker is marketing your own shit..
like that card game, I think its called cards against humanity or some shit like that...
dude is a multi millionaire off that game,
for real B, he eating good everyday!!!!
One lady just started selling her own coffe and now she has her own website...
and said she wish she just started branding her own shit sooner!!!
LOL,
well he just put it out there for the hood, but that hustle... been competitive before this interview..
Thrift stores are the way to go now....well its actually been the way... but the hood aint so much up on that...
