Get ya money up: Breakfast Club with Gary Vaynerchuk | Full Interview |

I mean he is a hustler an took his golden egg and made more..

but making money is easy to do when you have someone just HAND

you a liquor store..

He still dropped a couple gems in the interview. We're in technological age where you can easily educate yourself to become financially independent by using so many free outlets online.

no doubt!!

if you really want something all it takes is focus... and more focus and just want it bad enough that nothing else matters...

Im just saying a liquor store is a very lucrative business and very easy to get loans once you own one..

Dont be a victim.

you dont have to worry bout that shit....

just sayin you have a nice head start in life when your father leaves you a successful business..

just like donald trump.... sure he grew the business all Im sayin is,

it makes a difference...

what Im not saying is, cry about it an act like thats a road block to doing what you want in life...

having your parents leave you a successful business gives you a nice little headstart.....

its just a fact of life, no more no less...

Did someone hand it to his dad?

you love going off course, this topic is about this dude, and you cant knock his hustle or his drive to take his business further..

doesnt change the fact that inheriting a successful business makes your hustle a whole lot easier and the banks will throw money at you...

"did someone hand it to his dad"

you gotta be the queen of the strawman argument!!!

No it means you can be like his dad. Or you can be a victim. It's called self determination and he's trying to school you on it. Many people have been born with what he had and blew it. He didn't.

His dad was an immigrant and came to this country with nothing. Nothing easy about that and nothings easy about hustling.

This dudes hustle started waaaay before he was handed a liquor store. He says at 8-9 he was buying stuff at the dollar store and returning them to big box stores for a profit (illegal, sure, but still a hustle). And in his teens he was buying baseball cards and then taking them to the trade shows making $2-$3K a weekend. He said at 15 he hated school because it was just fluff and he was making more money on the weekends. So the drive was there before the store. He says in other interviews how he had his parents to an extent doubting him, but more blatantly his friends parents and teachers taking shots at him... "what college are you going to go to with those grades" " how is someone like you going to be successful".. Shit like that. And a regular liquor store can only make so much money. He took the store online and grew the business from a neighborhood liquor store to a Web business that happens to have a brick and mortar location. His dad wasn't tech savvy, his pops didn't have that vision, but he did.... I was listening to some of his stuff the past week.... And I feel like a piece of shit for even being on here commenting... And that's a good thing... It's time to do something and get this money

Freddy just wants to find reasons why he can't. And it's not good enough to find reasons why he can't. He wants to tell you why YOU can't.

Coon shit

and it helps when you have a father that owns a business...

thats all Im sayin...

take it how you want....

Unlike YOU this dude the interviewee makes great points..

you just pull shit out of your ass.....probably gonna pull out a gerbil next....

Good points!!!

heard 2 mins of this interview and i already like this guy..the whole stop watching tv, playing vidgames, etc and go out and get it has been my mindset forever
None of the things you mention are going to stop you from making money though

Saw that Gary V interview a few days ago.
Good interview.

But his interview was actually just a "nicer version" of this interview:

Dame basically talked about the same stuff.......yet Dame's message offended Envy & 80% of BGOL. Which means Envy & 80% of BGOL needs to grow thicker skin before they consider being Entrepreneurs.

'Crush It' was my shit. This guy's vlog is fantastic. It's worth checking out

Or it could be that Gary V is very personable and talks with a more relaxed / relatable manner. A lot mfkrs "grew up" with Dame, meaning they know that mfkr and back then he was an asshole and even after some humbling experiences he still comes off as an asshole*.

*being an asshole he doesn't bother me much, but I can see how others wouldn't be receptive to his message because of the messenger.

Gary's approach made certain people feel more comfortable. Dame's tone makes certain people turn away. I get it!

But my message remains the same. Gary talked about the exact same thing that Dame talked about. Some people ignored Dame because he came off as "harsh"; In the business world...shit is gonna be HARSH, stressful etc etc. If Dame screaming on the mic about being a Boss offends people and makes them run away, then how will they survive in the competitive and cut throat business world?

You think youre gonna run into a bunch of "personable people" on your road to success?
GL!!
LoL

Gary talks about how cut throat it is also. On the brilliant idiots He spoke about not letting his 4 yr old (maybe?) son score on him in basketball. He said his son already has a bit of a head start by how successful he has become, but the "real world" is not so cushy. So he said until his son can earn it, he's not going to take it easy on him.

but I get what you're saying. He puts things in a nice box, the message inside the box is still similar with Gary V and Dame.
But Dame is a little bit more than "harsh." Considering what all this dude has been through, you would expect him to ease off a little bit. he's fallen from grace in the music biz, his ex-wife took his fashion biz swag and is running it, well. He hasn't produced a good movie in over a decade....he got divorced (which may not be an "L," but is extremely stressful and one of the top 10 most stressful events in a persons life....and through it all he is still just as cocky, brash and assholish as ever. there's a way to get your point / message across without being like that.

None of the things you mention are going to stop you from making money though
it's about spending your time and energy more about progressing than spending your time doin nothing.. if people took an hr a day and read info on how to use the internet, learn technical things on how to use ur pc, editing, learning about stocks, etc instead of spending time watching some reality tv show they more likely will develop more tools to generate more money..that's what him and various others mean by utilizing ur time to benefit yourself..ever hear people say they're bored and have nothing to do?? well if they used their "bored" time to learn more things or actually go out and try new things u could progress more.. 1 of the number 1 excuses for people not to go down the entrepreneur route or better themselves is they don't have enough "time"... if u took away all those time consumers and replaced them with progressive material u'd see a growth in money with a lot of people

Did you have all his failures wrote down on a notepad?
LoL

On top of all the failures that u just highlighted, he also went through a lot of adversities prior to great success of Roc-A-Fella records. You'll get some W's, youll catch some L's...shit happens! Dame couldve been "Jay Z rich", but he chose not to. But like Jay Z said himself, Dame will be good because at the end of the day Dame is a hustler/survivor.

I give Props to Gary for coming on the Breakfastclub and reinforcing what Dame already said. FREE schooling from two successful businessmen. Props to them both!

Bullshit.

dames advice was to "flip" which we all know what he flipped. DRUGS.

The dude today made it clear that he wanted his friends who were selling drugs to use that same skill somewhere else.

And HE pointed out places you can get real time advice and gave some that were all legal. And he also didn't come on bashing people who had jobs. They even asked him about people who recognized they weren't enter premiers and he didn't shit on them either. AND his hustle is still working so everything he's talking about, he DOES.

Oh wait there's more. He even GAVE RESPECT to The hustles of the hosts of the show and didn't tell them that they weren't men because they didn't own the station. He recognized that they owned their talents and contracted them to whoever they work with.

He's nothing like Dame Dash
