* As a Discover customer, you can receive $25 if friends you refer to Discover: (1) are new Discover Bank deposit account customers, (2) before 5/15/11 they open online and fund an eligible Discover Bank deposit account with an amount equal to or greater than the minimum initial deposit amount, (3) provide a valid offer and referral code at the time of deposit account application, (4) for at least 60 consecutive days beginning on the date of account funding, maintain their deposit account in good standing with a deposit balance, of no less than the minimum initial balance and (5) keep the account open and in good standing for 8 weeks from the date the terms of the offer are satisfied. Any friend you refer who satisfies the requirements listed above will also receive a $25 bonus.
In order for you to qualify for the Refer-a-Friend Bonus Offer, your Discover Bank deposit account must be open and in good standing at the time of bonus offer posting, approximately 8 weeks after your friend satisfies the terms of the offer. Refer as many friends as you like, however a maximum of 20 Refer-a-Friend Bonuses will be made to one customer per calendar year.
The bonus offer will be applied as a credit to your account and to your friend's Discover deposit account within 8 weeks from the date your friend satisfies the terms of the offer. The bonus offer amount will be reported as interest income for the account holder on form 1099-INT. The minimum initial deposit for Discover Money Market Accounts and Discover CD accounts is $2,500. The minimum initial deposit for Discover Online Savings Accounts is $500. IRA CDs are not eligible for this offer. Employees of Discover Financial Services are not eligible to participate. Offer is non-transferable and may be withdrawn or modified at any time without notice.
