When Biden and Harris debated, they served Trump and Pence on a silver platter. Pence couldn't land a sound bite. Meanwhile, Biden pushed Trump into the "stand back and stand by" line that helped lose the election.
In my opinion, tonight was proof that Newsom isn't ready to be president.

I was in a twitter space for the debate with Florida folks. Desantis' supporters are fighting with Trump supporters over this, and a lot of people are mad at Desantis for choosing to debate a "slick liberal".
I think Gavin did miss some opportunities, but DeSantis didn't do himself any favors and he damaged himself trying to score points and elevate his profile in a friendly arena but lost against someone who isn't even running.
Personally I don't want to see DeSantis taken out too soon. The commentary tomorrow from Trump and other GOP candidates will be interesting.
