Pau Gasol has vowed to be more aggressive against the Celtics in Game Five on Sunday night, according to The Washington Post.

The Lakers will be looking to extend the series as Boston is just one win away from securing the 2008 NBA Title.

"I'll try to be as aggressive as I can, offensively and defensively," Gasol told reporters on Saturday.

"I've tried to do a good job defensively on (Celtics' forward Kevin) Garnett all series long, but I'll try to be a little more assertive on offense if I get the chance," he added.

Not even watching the game i see, as soon as Kobe got on him the scoring stopped and he only that last three on a switch that made Fisher have to guard him

As long as his teammates continue to score he should take shots within the flow but if the lead goes from 12 to like 5 or 6 then he'll start putting up shots which he should do. The Celtics have their defensive focused on Kobe so if his teammates start to disappear and he becomes a jump shooter and isn't making them the Lakers are going fishing but if he makes them or penetrates and goes to the line then they will live to see another day

..of course, but you milk it until it's dry. I think he pulls the trigger WAY too soon in games and goes for self when it's not necessary. The important thing is getting STOPS right now.

That last play was just good defense by the Celtics, Kobe was looking to pass and it was read by KG

The Lakers built a 14 or 19 pt lead leadd by Kobe and then when he was taken out that lead was erased. Lamar Odom disappeared for longggggggggggg stretrchs of the game, Gasol was good on offense but on defense he had numerous moments of laziness, Kobe was fucking up with those two jumpshots instead of driving at the end but managed to come thru with a good defensive play to close out the game

The main two schemes they were playing in the second half was give it to Gasol and let him work or have Kobe drive and kick it out to a open man or that man pass again to another open man, they had abandoned the triangle

He ended the game with 25 scored what 15 in the first so you do the math two of those points came at crucial time i think
