Gamers: Cacs FALSELY claim Lead Developer of EA's new Black Panther game explains why she doesn't hire white people

I'm not weighing in as far as what I think about this, and it's not the full discussion, but it this same reasoning of wanting to be surrounded by people like herself has been used by white folk to exclude us and oppose diversity.
Facts. I applaud her for doing that cause it does makes sense and is needed.
However, people need to stop telling everything though.
We don't live in an equal world.

True, but most aren't foolish enough to openly admit in public like she did.

That public statement could easily result in a discrimination lawsuit from any white applicants who may have applied considering she's already confessed to discriminating potential hires based on race :smh:

Social Media strikes again. :smh:

Yes, we know this is the practice but, they understand exclusion by other means not directly stating the intent which literally against the law.

Do it, don't blab it out to the public.
Self-snitching ain't helping the movement.

She can also "not be hired" or "not get any funding".

I don't see how her statements don't put all other black talent in her profession in a difficult spot.

Beyond that profession, the same conversation applies as well. Are we for racial exclusion in hiring practices or against it?

And seriously... Micro-agressions? Smh...

Rule #1 of Fight Klub......... Never talk about Fight Klub.

She was supposed to just show up to work everyday & be like...

What is understood doesn't need to be said.
Because everybody on her team ALREADY knows the drill.

Y'all need to stop being so damn scared to be honest about your needs while navigating these waters successfully.

you cannot be any more discriminated against in this field. And it is notoriously racist.

Shes not a stick up kid.
No, but she may be unemployed in the time of cancel/pc culture. Not saying it's right, but people know the game and I personally wouldn't risk it, I'd let my actions speak louder than words.

If course this entire story has been taken out of context, blown up out of proportion, partially fabricated all for outrage.

Shes independent.

She will never be unemployed.

She's working for a company now, she can be fired. But I'm thinking this "controversy is so small and she's such an insignificant part of the dev team it'll probably all just blow over.

But if she wants she could also go make another gay/lesbian people of color dating sim. Lol

You trying to front but it's silly and unnecessary. You aren't telling your kids to tell their potential employers that they don't want to work with white people during the interview.

Corporate America is a game to be played where you advance yourself and your people.

The honesty is to yourself and your people. Not everything is meant to be said on podcasts/social media.

A message that would speak volumes is saying I hired the best people, and then show the best people and it's all black peeps. That would mean so much more then saying "I don't want to deal with micro-agressions".

Did you even watch the video to see what she said or didn't say?

And you dont know what i tell my kids.

I pretty much said the same thing she did while asking the public for money.
