Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

I read something that had a good point.

The way this season was written, the night king has a dragon....he can just fly around to various locations and raise the dead.
They haven't been burning the dead south of the wall.

Have them attack from various directions.

Would be hilarous to see Cersei getting choked out by a dead Joffery...

^^^ Or maybe getting choked out by a dead version of Joffrey's...... LITTLE BROTHER .... for blowing up his wife, Margery.

dude i didnt know shit about little fingers death. Untill I watched the finale. Ive watched alot of tv. And i was going by shit ive seen for years. A main character that has alot of screen time. All of a sudden barely get any screen time usually means their done. Plus the story is winding down to the finale. Just like the blackfish and walder frey. Hbo has done the same shit with boardwalk empire(especially the last season) multiple main characters was getting knocked before the finale. True blood same shit main characters got knocked before the finale.

ok nigga but explain the phantom preview tho...

cersi got bron fighting against the mountain for setting up the meeting with tyrion and jamie. Part of the trailer you see bron fighting.

I was someone who predicted that Cersei would probably kill Bronn for setting up the secret meeting with Jaime and Tyrion... by making him fight the Mountain.... But I never claimed that 'I saw it in a preview'... or 'read/saw any spoilers'.... or had any prior knowledge.

...and that's why nobody's talking about you

... 2 other people corrected me & one of them said that they saw / or knew it was definitely the Hound.... because they saw 'press photos'... or "leaked photos' (or something like that :dunno:) before the season started.

...and these is the type of niggas we talking about

ok nigga but explain the phantom preview tho...

what do you mean? I just asked a question. And made my prediction. I also was going by, it would have been really stupid. To do all that setup and no payoff. That would made the characters look retarded. You got a character who can see the past, and control animals and humans. But he wont tell his fam the mothafucka that caused his parents and brothers to be killed. Right under his roof and isnt going to say shit. Come on fam that would been retarded.

Bran's line about Robert's rebellion being based on a lie was completely wrong though.

The rebellion wasnt just about Robert losing out on Lyanna. Robert got the other houses to support him because the king's favorite hobby was cooking people alive.

But it was jump started by Ned's father/brother going to Kings Landing based off of the belief that Lyanna Stark was kidnapped by Rhaegar which led to their murder which sparked the rebellion so therefore it was based on a lie since Lyanna was never kidnapped/raped and had actually married Rhaegar.

Fellas, here is something interesting on why the Sansa/Arya storyline fell flat:

http://io9.gizmodo.com/game-of-thrones-cut-a-scene-that-wouldve-explained-that-1798622658

All I can say is

I don't think you need that scene. I always thought that the static between Sansa and Arya was a ruse. Although I did yell at My TV during many of those scenes.
After I had a chance to watch it again l thought to have them have a feud didn't make sense unless of course they were up to something. The way I see it Little Finger was about 2 moves behind from the moment he gave Bran the Dagger. It is possible Bran filled in the blanks on him any time between the scene where he gives Arya the Dagger or when Brienne spots all three of them crossing the Court yard.

I figure Little Finger was being led by the nose from that moment by Sansa. Even the sparring match between Brienne and Arya may have been part of the ruse to draw Little Finger out and have him play his hand.

From a Story telling perspective leaving the scene out gives both sisters a level of maturity and growth where as leaving it in diminishes Arya. It makes her a rather childish killer. I will say that this portion of the season is murky at Best.

that's exactly why the scene was needed bcuz it wasn't supposed to be a ruse initially...I just have a hard time believing LF could be outsmarted by the likes of arya/sansa...despite what they've been thru they were well out of their league...it would truly take someone like bran to completely turn his plans upside down...I also think his character wasn't well written this season...the way he tricked arya was dope tho but his attempts to manipulate sansa seemed clumsy @ times but he still should've been more than a formidable opponent for arya/sansa and it would've made sense imo to have them show bran speaking w/ them prior to that scene...it was fun to see LF die @ their hands but the little turnabout play was too cliche...the way the scene was supposed to play out in the early spoilers I read was bran was supposed to warg into sansa I believe and literally show her LF's treachery...that would've been dope as hell...him just rattling that shit out @ the last minute and everybody like "oh ok...sure"...idk it coulda been done better...a lot of things this season were just rushed and many moments didn't feel right

Lyana could of just spoken the truth instead of just running off. She had to have known her family would be out looking for her. I guess her mind was on getting that back blown out by Rhaeger.

Here is an article that was written before the season Finale it explains it better than I did. When it comes to story telling in GOT they are always playing the long game.

not buying it man...he set the whole realm into chaos but got outsmarted by these two...I'm ok "lying" to myself and going w/ "he underestimated them" but seriously nah
I actually found the opposite more problematic. Him manipulating Arya so easily. Shes basically a ninja warrior now trained in the art of murder and deception. Alot of people is blaming the writters of being lazy because of the lack of source material. I kind of agree. But they only got 6 more episodes to wrap this shit up.

But we're assuming they don't have source material because the books haven't been released though which may be incorrect.

However George R.R. Martin may have provided him with whatever he does have (which I assume is still a lot) to reference which seems likely.

I'm pretty sure they have source material to work off of even if the fans no longer have the books to reference which I believe has resulted in the showrunnners and writers probably deviating from the source material at times since they don't have to worry about any backlash from the fans who've read the books.

I think the issue isn't lack of source material its the fact that they're rushing these last two seasons and jamming this all into 13 episodes which results in plot holes in some storylines as well as some seemingly illogical stories due to them bot being explained/shown properly.

picking GRRM's brain and getting the 'gist' of where things will end up doesn't equate to having the prior luxury of having 5 completed novels to build off of

True but I don't think they're picking his brain I think they basically have all he's written which is probably extensive though not completed as a novel.

But I think they're taking advantage of the book not being out and changing things as they see fit.

Both Lyanna and Rhaegar fucked up big time.

Rhaegar was married already. How would Dorne react to him annuling his marriage to the princess?

Lyanna was promised to Robert. Even if she went willingly, Robert would not have accepted it, dude really really loved her.

As it is these two idiots got their entire families killed.

We've made it to the end of another season of Game of Thrones, only two years until the conclusion of the entire series. The Dragon and the Wolf proved to be anatomically compatible as several houses combined in this finale. All that being said here are my stretched out thoughts from Season 7 episode 7

    • Greyworm looks like he's ready to battle at Thermopylae
    • Daenerys Unsullied and Dotharki armies represent order and chaos.
    • Bron and Jamie view armies like they're 96 Bulls ...they know they can't win
    • “Men without cocks. You wouldn’t find me fighting in an army if I had no cock. What’s left to fight for?”
    • Jon like a true country boy questions "why anyone would want to live crammed into a city"
    • Dothraki have adapted to Westeros culture, they have jewelry and armor on
    • The dragon pit home to Balerion the black dread and Maximus Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife.
    • Brienne and the Hound acting like proud divorced parents of their assassin child Arya.
    • Cersei marches in like she's on the Rhythm Nation tour with Janet
    • Hound tells Darth Mountain. “You know whose coming for you brother…you’ve always known,”
    • Daenerys has to use her frequent flier miles before they expire...flight was delayed
    • the Breaker of Chains rolls up to this King's Landing prom in the most exclusive ride of all
    • tumblr_ovdlw6mcIv1qmob6ro1_400.gif
    • Cersei more threatened by Brienne and Jamie than a housewife is of a yoga instructor
    • Even Phil Ivey would be impressed with Cersei's pokerface
    • Euron wants to Iron bone Daenarys ...Salladhor Saan says get in line
    • Cersei's calls Daenerys a would be usurper? wasn't she married to the one true usurper for 17 years?
    • Hound feeling like I did when furnishing my daughters dorm, powerlifting luggage
    • Bernie Sanders scared the shit out of Cersei when he jumped out of that crate
    • Cersei whispers to Qyburn "it looks like Margaery Tyrell without makeup"
    • tumblr_ovdmlc7LtQ1qmob6ro1_400.gif
    • The wind nor fermented crab was responsible for lifting Qyburn’s robes when he saw the wight
    • Jon goes full Billy Mays infomercial-mode when demonstrating how to destroy wights
    • "Can they swim?" asks Euron "if not I'm headed to Houston see ya'll in the spring"
    • Jon Snow Washington "I cannot tell a lie....I bend the knee for dragon booty"
    • Cersei failed to condemn wight supremacy too.
    • Lannister family reunion inside the Red Keep... big sister running thangs
    • Cersei the Romulan queen has no sympathy for Tyrion the Ferengi
    • Tyrion and Cersei easily have best scenes when pitted against one another
    • tumblr_ovdqtn4SXS1s16b9to4_400.gif
    • A Dragon is not a slave ....lock them up and they lose their advantage
    • Littlefinger tries to turn Sansa against Arya (i.e like Catelyn and Lysa)
    • Jon suggest he and Daenerys sail to North together; bartender Issac puts two thumbs up
    • Jorah tries his best to put Daenerys on Spirit Airlines to Winterfell
    • Jon gives Theon a pep talk 'You're a Stark and a Greyjoy...act like it"
    • Yara needs me.... then why are you here talking to me?
    • 3rd rule of Pyke Fight Club.....is you gotta fight on the beach
    • The Ironborn won the first few rounds but lacked stamina and experience to last into the later rounds (like Connor McGregor)
    • Theon beating down ole boy like he's Ralphie from a Christmas story
    • tumblr_ovejknstHa1rd81odo4_400.gif
    • What is dead may never die....baptize thyself in the salt waters of the drowned god Theon
    • Bring my sister to the Great Hall it's time for Winter court says Sansa
    • Would Bran's visions be admissible in court?
    • Bran's tax return must be HUGE. He has all the receipts.
    • tumblr_ovdtbzL0YR1sjezeoo2_540.gif
    • The Oscar goes to Littlefinger with all that crying.... Sansa's not falling for it like her mom
    • Somebody's got to take over Littlefinger's job of hanging out half in shadows being creepy.
    • Arya... a girl of no long talks and sudden action SLASH
    • Bran doesn’t care much about trial and is already watching one of HBO’s upcoming GoT prequels in his mind.
    • Finally, someone outplayed the player. Sansa learned the Game. Lord Baelish got fingered.
    • I hope Arya wears Littlefinger's face around Winterfell just to fuck with Sansa sometimes.
    • Cersei double cross is stupid; Let them fight the dead, we’ll kill whoever’s left?
    • Hired the Golden Company with their elephants and possibly Daario?
    • Cersei auditioned for 90's girl group Jade by singing "Don't walk away"
    • Jamie calls her bluff; if Jaime can walk away from a toxic relationship you can too.
    • tumblr_ovehbdO2ip1qcbk34o9_400.gif
    • It's snowing in King's Landing...all schools are closed tommorrow in Flea Bottom
    • Sam rides into Winterfell with Gilly the ultimate ride or die carriage chick
    • Sam reacts to Bran's Three Eyed Raven thing like the other Defenders react to Danny and his Iron Fist thing
    • Bran omited being able to see in to the future....explains a lot.
    • Bran or the Tony Rich Project? Jon needs to know the truth.... but nobody knows but me
    • Sam surprises Bran with something he doesn' know? — Rhaegar married Lyanna in a secret ceremony.
    • That wedding was more secretive than Jay-Z personal life if even Bran Stark couldn't see it
    • tumblr_ove54udqxg1vyce2eo8_400.gif
    • Wait Lyanna is from the north...she wouldn't get married under the light of the Seven?
    • His name is Aegon Targaryen....he's the legitimate heir to the Iron Throne
    • Rhaegar with the George Foreman approach.....one name for all his sons
    • Maybe the reason Ned “never talked” about Lyanna is because he saw her for the homewrecker she was.
    • Robert's Rebellion was built on a lie...like the Trump presidency
    • Jon shoots up (his aunt) Daenerys club up
    • George R.R. Martin wrote this shit solely to convince the world that incest is okay under the right circumstances...
    • In another cabin, Ser Jorah sits alone, plugging his ears and crying softly
    • Not only is it incest, it's legitimized incest, confirmed by the high septon himself!
    • "You looked so beautiful, while you were fucking your aunt" Bran states....
    • tumblr_ovegt1tKDA1wylm3po8_400.gif
    • Daenerys is Westeros's Erykah Badu, that punany will have you doing crazy things
    • Can't wait to pregnant queens fight it out next season on Real Housewives of Incest City
    • The lone wolf dies...the pack survives (good to see Arya and Sansa united)
    • Sansa should have killed Littlefinger. The one who passes the sentence should swing the sword.
    • I feel for Catelyn Stark, none of her kids ever recite her sayings or say they miss her. Always daddy daddy daddy.
    • Look at me ....I'm the nightwatch now Tormund proclaims
    • Where are the children of the forest and why aren't they cleaning up their own gotdamn mess?
    • Only took the army of the dead 7 seasons to reach the wall
    • tumblr_ovdkd1r9yF1u034pso3_540.gif
    • Someone, light the fires to call Gondor, because SHIT JUST GOT REAL.
    • Night king flew up to the wall on Viserion banging "X gonna give it to ya"
    • An Ice dragon? with speed upgrades and GODZILLA BREATH!!!!
    • Night king looks less excited than a 3 year old on those 25cent rides at Kroger
    • Viserion said “Jon ain’t the only thing tearing walls up tonight!”
    • dragon-burninating.gif
    • .... and Edd over at Castle Black totally unaware that anything is at all wrong.
    • Only 6 more episodes left..... And now our wait begins

:lol2::lol2::lol2::lol2:

wait hold up...I just read this and it doesn't answer my question...this is the same spoilers I read and there is NO mention of bronn fighting the mountain...plus there were @ least 2 niggas in here claiming they actually saw it in the previews

They saw the clip here at the 1:22 mark where The Hound pulls out his sword and began speculating that it was him (or Bronn) fighting The Mountain.

People are overlooking this. It was his desire for Sansa, maybe as a replacement for Catelyn, that compromised him. Otherwise you never really saw Littlefinger get caught up in chasing a woman or chasing money.

cause the showrunners ain't shit.
the best writing was written for them already lol

that's all it was.
he was a master at everything but he was more of a simp than a master.
his entire motivation for the power he was thriving for was to be good enough to marry sansa.

Peace,

Fucking THANK YOU! The idea that this Faceless Man would be so easily duped by a man who she already didn't trust was yet another example of terrible season 7 writing.

Bear in mind: without the stable architecture of the books to rely upon, these mfs made both Varys AND Tyrion boring. Those cac show runners are the luckiest crackers on Earth.

Not quite. Littlefinger wanted the throne. He set all this shit in place to pit two of the most powerful families in the kingdom against each other so that we could gain position once the dust settled.

Chaos is a ladder. Sansa was always just a trophy.

I'd argue again that really he just wanted to be in a position high enough that nobody would bat an eye if he married sansa initially.
and then it evolved into what it became.

and the showrunners missed an opportunity to have bran crack the case.

I didn't see her as being duped man. Idk I didn't get that impression. It felt to me more like she was just playing a role cause if she was really duped or really believed it Sansa would've gotten clapped up.
