Once you kill and kill, that switch is hard to turn off.
I thought so too at first, but the zombies kept coming while they were getting up on the dragon. They were close enough that they'd have been pulled off probably, or would have reached the dragon before he was secured on it. The dragon also only had that small place to take off from, he didn't have a place to get a running start to go up, they had trouble pushing off and getting up in the air with the people they had. So I think it was probably for the best.

a bear attacks and everyone just stands, but they fight off all them zombies though lol
dude threw a javelin to a moving dragon, when he coulda just ended all this reunion circle jerk with what was in front of him
so a bunch of zombies run and the ice doesn't crack,? but it cracks when the hound taps it with that bullshit as hammer
this season coming off like some fan fiction shit

I think that was just a plot point to show how they are organized like battalions.These zombies travel in one huge group and the magnificent 7 were so lucky to find a couple of them walking by themselves
each walker is like a commander and the dead they raise is his unit. But it seem each unit may have a dead raised by the NK so if something should happen to the walker the NK will instantly know.
Just my speculation
man, I know they probably didn't want everybody putting their hoods up on their heads because they wanted full face camera shots, but anybody from areas that get cold and windy.... you know damn well, you ain't walking for miles or standing for hours in frigid windy snowy conditions without covering your ears and head
